All I can say is...... WOW!!!!! this game is a must have and you will find nothing that comes close to the beauty that is guitar hero! I've been playing this game for ages and I am still playing it till today! This is a must buy and if you are a rock fan than what r you waiting for ;) This game is recomended for any age :)

This game is awesome, loads of great songs, cool unlockables and hours and hours of gameplay. May seem a little expensive, but trust me it's worth every penny.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock actually makes up for the title.
You get to play against three different rock gods including Slash, Tom Morello and Lou. Though Lou is not a person, he's actually the devil. And you have to battle these guys in Career mode.
And you battle them in the all-new Battle Mode with Attacks instead of Star Power. You have to make the other person fail before the end of the song, or else, you lose. But you will get it if you practice.

The list of songs is great! I think, personally, it's the best setlist for a Guitar Hero game ever. (Just take a look up there over my review)

You have the insane song ''Through The Fire And Flames'' by Dragonforce and you have the boring song ''Slow Ride'' and many more.

When on the Playstation Store you can download additional track packs for GH3. And it just installs itself you don't even have to have the game disc inside. I don't know how much they cost where you live but in Norway they cost 45 kroner, almost the same as £4,5.

The online mode is very good. Here you can play Battle, Co-op, Face-Off or Pro Face-Off.
All the modes are good and fun to play.
Though both of the players need to have the same downloaded tracks in order to play them online.

But that's just some bull, don't care about that. Care about the fun, excitement and happiness that you can get out of this game.
This game is a Platinum for Ps3 and if you don't own it, then buy it!

Remember: You have to have the Les Paul Guitar Controller for Ps3 or it doesn't work, unless you wanna play with your Sixaxis.

Being a drummer myself, I had always thought of the Guitar Hero games as being over gimmicky and, to be frank, a bit naff... Then I got it for myself and WOW! It is the most fun you can have without having to spend a fortune on expensive equiptment!
The songs- both old and new -all have that perfect "rock out"ness about them and even tho there isn't a huge choice of characters to "play" as, with the various customations you can make to their outfit/style/guitar etc, it feels as if you can play the same song in over a million different ways!
Personally, my favourite feature of the game is the way it adapts to both right AND left handers- being able to flip the guitar over to play it left handed has made it a lot easier and saved me hours of confusion.
In short- buy this game and you WON'T be disappointed!

I was a bit dissapointed with the song choice with the last guitar hero so i waited to see what these where like and they are really good. Also the really fun bit is every now and then you get to battle 3 rock gods in a guitar battle which involves playing parts of the song each and useing attacks instead of star power. Also there is now online play which is really good fun.

Just cause the only reason this game is good is its addictiveness ,doesn't mean its not a good game and anyone who doesn't like the music should be shot!!

This game is amazingly good the only thing wrong i think is that it shold have some more up to date songs . Then it would truly be one of the best games i own

Brilliant game. Our home hasn't stopped rocking since our son got this game for his birthday 2 days ago. From our 8 year old grandson up to his grandparents, we have had lots of fun trying to master the tunes.
