Race Driver: Grid is all about the race - that period from lights to flag; full of tension, pressure, noise, and action.
Grid will take players to beautifully realised and dramatic race locations over three continents to compete in an unprecedented variety of racing events. Packed with the most powerful race cars - new and classic, circuit and drift - players will compete to conquer the most prestigious official race tracks and championships and then go beyond to compete in challenging city-based competitions, through to road events and urban street races.
In Europe, race gamers will compete on the greatest official tracks in prestige Marques including Aston Martin, Koenigsegg and Pagani. Iconic cities across the U.S. - including San Francisco, Washington DC and Detroit and each with their own atmosphere and events - play hosts to diverse street races. In the Far East, Japanese racing culture sets the tone where night races, including Drift racing, take drivers through neon illuminated cities and to outlying mountain roads.

Myself I prefer racing sims rather than arcade based games, but in this case i'm persuaded. Yes the physics are not to my standards, but he racing experiance is beyond the Gran Turismo norm.
Superb game, easily as good as GT: Prologue, if not better..

I wasn't entirely sure whether or not to get this game, but after seeing loads of positive reviws, I decided to see what I was missing out on. I was not disappointed.
This game is so much fun and a lot less serious than GT5: Prologue, which looks beautiful, but has it's flaws. I have not tried the multiplayer yet, however I expect it to be better than GT5: Prologue with it's flawed, unpredictable and unfair penalty system. It's probably not fair for me to compare this to GT5: Prologue, as both games are different (this is more arcadey), and many people will enjoy both.
Highly Recommended!
