A spectacular, creative, and unflinching realisation of a Clive Barker nightmare for next-gen console platforms and PC, Clive Barker's Jericho is a new supernatural horror concept with story by the master mythmaker, novelist and filmmaker Clive Barker.

Jericho deals with the mysterious reappearance of a lost city in a remote desert. When a form of evil that goes right back to the dawn of days resurfaces from there, a Special Forces squad, trained in both conventional warfare and the arcane arts, is sent in. Their mission: Hunt down and destroy the evil that lurks at the heart of the city before it destroys humanity.

Clive Barker's Jericho is designed as an action horror title that will up the stakes in visuals and phantasmagorical special effects. Mingling the darkest elements of Barker's horror fiction and films with an ambitious, age-spanning story, aimed at mature gamers, fans of Clive Barker and horror fiction enthusiasts.

I have played the demo, can't get enough of it. Yes it might just be another one of those first person shooters, but it has so many differnent and new features. This is a must buy and one of the best games on the PS3 to date.

 personally i hate it

well this is just my view, but it is not a horror at all, not one bit of the game even made me jump, i went out looking for a horror and this didn't deliver for me, next off the plot, i saw the ending coming a mile off and the whole farther weilding dual pistols was a huge turn off for the game, the powers are terrible to put it bluntly and just the whole game is a crime against humanity. however, if you are looking for a non-scary horror, with a terrible plot, really bad characters, dastardly voice acting and just a general bad game then this is down your alley.

on the plus side the games graphics get a mere 3/5, they're the only reson the game overall gets 1/5, that and that fact i can't go lower than 1/5

AWESOME Game. I Paid £40 For This Special Edition And Now Its Less Than £18 You Should Deffinetly Buy A Copy Or You WILL Regret It.

Great Gameplay And I Love The Fact You Can Switch Characters To Take Full Advantage Of Everyone's Special Power's And Abilities.

A Few People Have Said In Review's From Other Web Sites That The Game Is Too Dark To See What Your Doing And That Makes The Game Unenjoyable And That They Havent Even Got Past The First Level & It's Sat On The Shelf Gathering Dust - All That Need's To Be Done Is Adjust The Brightness To Max In The Settings - SIMPLE AS. (Put This If You Experience The Same Problem)

 Well its ok

Top 100 PC Reviewer

This game is decent, its quite fun to play, it does get a bit boring i find, and they could of made it a bit scarier. Overall id say ok. But if you have a 360 or pc my advice is to bioshock instead if your looking for a real scare.

 The price is about right...

I am very tempted to say 'for the price this is a good deal' but its not.

There are a long list of better FPS titles (The Orangebox, Call of Duty 4, Condemned 2, Resistance).

While it may seem like a good purchase its a false economy! by the time you have finished this ugly game (about 10 hours of play) there is nothing else to do! Which means you will have to but another FPS just for multiplayer!

-Ugly game with no variety (all levels are dark and brown? for some reason) no incentive to play past the poor storyline! Totally unlikeable cast, bad controls, respawning enemies (from normal grunts to bosses! without this the game would be about half the length.)

You have been warned....
