gameplay hasnt moved on since the original. graphics have improved but cod 4 wipes the floor with it , think of the plastic look of quake 4 and youll have an idea of the look. does suffer from pop-up but graphically this game is acceptable. the gameplay doesnt rate against the other fps heavy hitters and is really quite poor. only recommended for sof fans (of which i am one) and if you can get it cheap, best picked up 2nd hand or in the bargain bins. if you are suffering from games starvation (all ps3 owners) or are a fan and just cant wait, like me, plays price is good for a mediocre game. you have been warned!

             took your time!!

i was a massive fan of the old soldier of fortunes. was addicted to the second game and was pretty good at it.
been waiting years for a third one.
not sure what to make of it as it looks very similar.
nothing new to give it a wow factor.
ive given it 3 stars as they took too long to bring this title out and there for not that bothered by the game anymore.
cof4 looks to be the king now.

             Good Fun Easy Gaming

If you're not a shooter fanatic like me and want a game that you actually have a chance at completing then this is it.The storyline is very basic but the gameplay is good.Certainly no where near the COD shooters but a good all rounder

             soldier of bargain more like!

Not a bad game, not comparable to games like COD 4 or 5 though.
Very simple game, creators were very lazy and by the looks of things made this game too quickly basically rushed it. No where near as good as the first two games which was a bit of a let down but if you were a SOF fan then buy this for a laugh. The gore is fun and I must say the technicality of the guns is impressive, best bit about the game I think.
