Well, i got this game and i can tell you it is really funny if you play with somebody else.
Anyway, if you play alone you are going to get borried in 30-40min. It's a little expensive i think, but if don't care about money you will spend lots of entertainment time.
Disappointing but fun

I bought this after seeing some previews and hearing that it had the same game engine as Virtua Tennis
On the first play I wasnt impressed. The colours were bright but on some courts seemed very garish.
There also didnt seem much of a game - The main game involves completing various mini games based on popuplar Sega games - some also come in the form of single and double matches - some involve you hitting zombies with the ball and collecting items.
You unlock characters and new courts by working your way through these mini games.
Its good fun but can become a little samey and nowhere near as addictive as the excellent Virtua Tennis career mode.
Although initially disappointing some fun can still be had.
You can play as some of your favourite characters including Nights, Sonic and Jet Set Radio.
Some of the courts are excellent and the Sega music is great, especially on the OutRun court, and adds to the atmosphere.
The gameplay is solid and ther's plenty to unlock.
If you see it cheap it's worth a shot.

The graphics on this game are rubbish. Another BIG mistake Sega(tm) have made. Please, please, please don't buy this game...... If you do, you'll be sending it back before you can say 'this game is ****'.
One Word FUN!

This game is really fun. It is "Virtua Tennis" with all the best characters from SEGA. There are thousands of unlockables and you can now verse people online. My only complante is that some of the challenges are harder than they should be. Still this a very fun game a must buy. Also, this is not at all a childrens game it is fun for everyone. In fact part of it maybe to hard for kids.
A MUST BUY! BUY IT NOW!
Fun, fun, fun!

Think Virtua Tennis. Think exact gameplay and controls. Now add some of the best characters the video games industry has seen (sonic, space channel five, jet set radio, resident evil, etc.) and then give them a 'super-move' each (speed if you're sonic, ball direction changes if you're Ulala, etc.) - then cutesy graphics, and it's a winner!
The COM put up a good fight, which surprised me as I thought this would be squarely aimed for kids - but it's not - it's for everyone... Loads of unlockables... well worth a purchase!!!
Recent reviews complained about the long load times, etc. but having experienced this, they are not that back and do not detract from a great 'pick-up-and-play' game.
BUY IT!!!
