Sleeping Dogs catapults players into the role of undercover cop Wei Shen, tasked with taking down one of the world's most fearsome criminal organisations from the inside... the Hong Kong Triads.

As players explore the bustling and crowded Hong Kong island, through its neon-lit side streets and sprawling street markets, an incredible story unfolds of loyalty and betrayal, where Wei begins to question his own motives as he is sucked in deeper than he could ever imagine.

Offering players an island packed with action, every street corner, market stall, harbour dock or city skyscraper can become an opportunity for intense shoot-outs, adrenaline-fuelled street races and intense, brutal martial arts combat.

Featuring one of the most intuitive and imaginative combat systems, Sleeping Dogs empowers players to perform an extensive set of martial arts moves, singlehandedly taking on numerous opponents.

Players perform bone-crunching kicks and combos, vicious counters and a cinematic set of environmental takedowns making use of countless real-world items from circular saws to phone booths, incinerators to refrigerator doors.
  • Suitable for 18 years and over. Not for sale to persons under age 18. By purchasing this product, you declare that you are 18 years of age and over.

  • A mature and gritty undercover cop drama, set in a high tension underworld where every action is a risk that could blow your cover
  • Seamless explosive action fueled by a mix of deadly martial arts, intense gunfights and brutal takedowns
  • Epic high-speed thrills: Burn up the streets as you ram other cars and drive recklessly while shooting your way through the narrow streets of Hong Kong

I really wasn't expecting this game to be as good as it is. I played the demo, then brought the game. If you like GTA/Mafia II, then you'll like this. Really recommend!

i have to disagree and say i found this game better than GTA. the only thing i didnt like was the fact i found it too short (the main story), as it only took me around 2 days to complete the main story. but there are plenty of side missions for you to do and you can even sing karaoke.

and i think the best part for me is the fighting. this game is definately worth buying.

 Brilliant Game!

It's a bit like Donnie Brasco as in you're working undercover to bring down the Hong Kong Mafia. Working both as a cop and working your way up through the Mafia as well as other little missions/collectibles it is also like Grand Theft Auto. Brilliant melee counter attacks as well that are vast! As well as a cracking story that makes sure it never gets boring
