I didn't buy this from Play.com as I needed one straight away today so bought it from Game, paid an extra fiver but not bothered about that. Mine came with ear fittings for both left & right ears, which was a bonus after reading the comments on here which said you only got one for the right ear.

Fit's ok, a bit loose on my ear but sound quality is exceptional. Played RE5 co-op with my brother, there was an issue in that I could hear myself talk, but that could have just been our connection/dodgy game server.

Very good headset, bit too big but that's nit-picking.

  Great to begin with..

To begin with this is a great headset, lets you hear other players clearly and like some other people have said its comfortable.
Yet after about a month of owning it the battery life is decreased to about an 2 hours when it should usually last 4-5. It also starts to cut out what other players say and if you accidentally lean on it it breaks almost instantly so it isn't very sturdy.
However, If you want a quick fix, this is just the thing.

  Can't fault it...

I've had this headset for a couple of years and so have a few of my mates. I've never had any problems with it and neither have they. It's comfortable and has good sound quality. Couldn't ask for any more from a headset.

A great value headset if found for the right price!

I got this headset when play were selling it for ten quid and considering that another reputable retailer had the cheek to charge twenty five for the same model (I'll leave you to guess who THAT was!), I thought it was an absolute steal not to be missed out on!

Was I wrong?

One word... NO!!!

There is crystal quality audio from people you're chatting/fighting against and there is rapid recognition when you're speaking and as I'd been in the market for a long time for a headset at the right price, I'm so glad I picked this one up as it was a great bargain!

The device is super-lightweight too, meaning that you can wear it and it's so light it's barely noticeable over prolonged periods, perfect for allowing you to concentrate on fragging your mates!

The only flaw I've found is the lack of a battery indicator (either on the device or the PS3's integration menu), as other reviewers have mentioned, but find that playing a single player game allows me to plug in the headset for charging when not in use (though don't expect to wear it whilst it's charging as the cable's way too short!).

Instead you're left to rely on a tri-colour LED, deep blue when it's powered on, I think, a lighter blue changing to green when it's put on charge.

The setup instructions are faultless and easy to follow leaving you setting your headset up in no time (first thing I did was to have fun with the 'voice-changer' you can apply to your voice, making it octaves lower or higher than your normal frequency!), so if you can get it for the right price, then go for it, you won't regret it!

It does have an initial 3-hr charge requisite so don't expect to use it as soon as you get it, but once it's charged you're away!

If I were super critical I'd mark it down because of the lack of battery indicator (but I can't mark it down for that because of the comfort, ease of use and ease of setup negate that!).

Regular care taken when charging (ie, remember how long you've used it for and charge it when not on multiplayer!) makes this an absolute steal if you can get it for a good price! TOP MARKS!!!

I've had this headset for my PS3 since the start and its good at times but sometimes it just doesn't want to connect to the PS3. Also say i am listen to music with the headset on to talk to people. it always picks up the music and plays it through the game, which can be very annoying. All round its a good quality headset but has some problems with it.

  Brilliant so far

I bought this today and found it easy to use and set up. I wore it for about 2 hours and hardly noticed it on my ear it is that light. You have good control over the volume, the voice changer is fun to use :P The quality of the sound to others seems to be very very good (shame theirs have horrible quality) You can use it in either your left or right ear. It is comfortable. For now i have to give it 5/5 because i have no reason not to. Maybe i might edit this and lower the rating if something bad happens which i am kinda expecting after some of the other reveiws on here. This can be very useful for playing tactically.

if all you want to do is just chat during gameplay, then look no further. easy to set up, easy to use, and they look great. not only do they look great, they feel great as well, i never use headsets and i only notice them on my ear whenever i change the volume. sound is awesome and clear with very little crackling. fully recommend you buying these.
