i bought this product about 5 months ago. prob the best thing i've bought for my PS3. the only problem i've found that if you have the 40 GB PS3 you'll need to get a bigger hard drive.......but that all depends on how much TV you wont to save.

I was so impressed with this add on that i have just replaced my hard drive with 320Gig H/D to cope with the extra recordings I will be making. Also the latest sotware upgrade just made it even better, upscaling recordings a treat. The interface with this is just perfect.
With the larger hard drive and the Play add on this whole system just gets better and better.

one of the best playstation products ever made! you get all the freview channels which most are good, plus you get to record them on your playstation 3. you can watch normal tv while recording or play a game while recording. you can also set up your program to record, leave your playstation on standby and it will switch on on it's own and start recording, it then switches off when it's finished. it is honestly the best extra to the playstation.

  Wonderful add-on

I have been using my PlayTV for some months now and have disgarded my old freeview box and DVD player now, no need, everything is here in one place. The range of options is immense and the ability to record, play and even export anything you like is perfect. Searching for programmes and being able to set a recording go out for as long as I like knowing my PS3 will boot up, record and shut down is perfect. You can even start something recording, and set it to shut down once finished (this wasn't possible in the early days).

There are regular software updates and there are additions to the services such as selecting your chosen region/country so this is a must for everyone who owns a PS3 - one tidy box, plugged into the aerial and USB to the PS3 (only annoying thing is that PS3's USB ports are on the front, not a PlayTV issue though).

I haven't had one problem with this, I simply love it. 5/5!

As it says a DVB-T for the PS3

It's basically a freeview+ box, but it runs through the console, I personally find it very useful it records programs whilst I am away and shuts itself down, not too much wasted power. The picture quality has vastly improved since the latest update, and it's far better than my built in tuner. it's worth a look, I was doubtful as it seemed a little expensive, but since justified itself

  i've got a question

What power outlet is supported (included in the package? I'm located in France and here we use the european power outlet (2 male points). thank's a lot :-) I hope the DVB-T range is large enough to see all the french/swiss and german chanels...

  Top product!!

Well... I bought Play TV 4 days ago , opened it and set it up within 5 minutes. It's soo easy to use i would recomend this to anyone!!

Yes it does work in Ireland (Works in whatever place as long as it has a PS3 and a TV)

And no , you cant record gameplay as it is just a freeview box , letting you only record freeview (and normal) channels
