I strongly suggest you avoid this purchase at all costs. This is probably the worst game I have ever played.
Most of the events are just smashing the buttons. Now I know they have added the the ability to wiggle the analogue stick rather than button mashing but it just doesnt work....how fast do they expect you to be able to do this??
I would not even buy this game if it was £10.
Avoid at all costs !!!
Hmmmmmmm

Dont know quite what game others are playing here. Yes it is difficult and yes Judo is impossible, however I have managed to win a number of events in Olympic mode and get through the whole game. It takes time and effort but is a decent athletics game.
A game of two halves

My rating for this game is mixed. Half of the events on there are really good and are good fun. Like swimming, diving and most of the field events. They are not too easy but not too hard.
Then some of the games on there are a nightmare. The sprinting events are impossible and the best i can get is 6th. Also kayaking also is really hard and as other people have said the judo is the worst thing on there and got me very wound up. Also pole vault is a joke and i cant seem to do it at all.
The olympic games mode is a bit boring really and is poorly done. They will put 5 easy events one day and then 5 of the hardest on another!
I would say this game is still good but a few of the events are extremely difficult
PAL: Will play on UK and European Playstation3 only | |
