After the brilliance of Athens on ps2 I bought this game straight away for 40 pounds. Really, I should have thought twice about buying it. The graphics are great, but some of the games are just painful! The friction created when spinning the analogue control really fast is very exhilarating, but shreds away your hand. The game itself is very hard and takes a while to get used to, but is quite fun when playing with friends and family, competing to win medals. Any price for less than 10 pounds is worth the game, so if you're up for a great challenge, buy the game.
This is a quality game, ignore all the people who moan about the controls, how hard is it to wiggle a stick. I agree it is tiring when you do certain events but thats all part of the fun! Great game to play with your mates, buy it now for hours of fun!!!!
I picked this up in the Xmas sales as Id been looking at it ever since it came out. The graphics look great but its really heard, the controls are to hard, I waggle the stick back and forth like a mad man and I still come last! It would've been better with difficulty levels. I did manage to come 3rd in a race but my hands hurt so bad after you just dont want to play again. They need to re-think the controls again, make them easier, that would've made it a fun game.
Honestly this is one of the worst games i've ever played, it looks good, but thats about it, its really hard to play and your hands get torn apart by the controls (unless your happy coming last everytime!!).
I played it for a couple of hours and after that I had so many blisters I decided it wasn't worth the pain anymore, and traded it in!
