got this game bought for me before christmas. enjoyed playing it, never owned any of the previous tomb raiders but yeah this game was ok. graphics were a little glitchy in places but overall not a bad game, also a fair price at £17.99, id say give it a go.

Good: Stunning graphics and beautiful settings around the world, new great moves, slow mo attack mode - kinda like F.E.A.R, great puzzles, helpful hints option.

Bad: No changes to camera problems from time to time, but hey - Tomb Raider fans are used to that minor setback ;)

Ok so i've just finished this game and i have to say that i loved every single minute of it!
Everything about the game is fabulous. The graphics are lush, beautiful and very detalied. The voice acting is excellent. I love Lara's accent. The soundtrack is truly epic as it always is. The gameplay is classic Tomb Raider.
Ok so it's not the longest game in the world or the hardest game in the world but does it have to be? After all it's about quality not quantity.
I have the greatest respect for Crystal Dynamics for taking Tomb Raider and turning the series around after Angel Of Darkness (which i did enjoy, very clunky controls but the game wasn't bad at all). All three Tomb Raider games that Crystal Dynamics have made have been fantastic and i can't wait for the next game!

Whether you're a fan of Tomb Raider or it's your first Tomb Raider game you will not be disappointed! Buy buy buy!!!

:)

p.s to everybody comparing it to Uncharted, where do you think alot of the ideas came from to make Uncharted? Don't say Indiana Jones, that's where Tomb Raider came from ;)

The graphics are awesome, the best from any other previous Lar Croft game. The controls are too easy for everyone to understand...Lara is too sexy and the gameplay is perfect...I think that game is a must for a Lara Croft fanatic...or for everyone who starts playing Lara Croft series now...

  Amazing Graphics

As with all Tomb Raider games this one has amazing graphics. The locations are vast and I love the mythical locations, you really get a feel for the environment created. The puzzles and game play will challenge you and keep you interested. However considering the hype I was a little let down, the game was far too short and there weren't enough combat sequences or scenery changes. I find myself saying the same thing about most major releases so maybe I expect too much???? Overall the game contains enough thrills, action and puzzles to keep most gamers happy. However if Tomb Raider is not your thing, I think you will struggle to be entertained at all???

It's got bugs, half the games do, some we notice, some we don't, and yes they are quite noticeable in most TR games including this one, also, the game a short, it's should've been another location or chapter longer, preferably two. But, what a game, I've played TR games of old, I've completed Legend (PS2), Anniversary (Wii), and now Underworld (PS3), and it is Great.
Graphice are great, especially breath taking in the jungle area's. Action is standard, then again I didn't expect Solid Snake or Dante (DMC) type of fighting (your not meant to), but the platforming is perfectly TR standard all the way. Oh, I've completed Drake and Prince of persia (all 4) and this is a great addition to the platforming genre, it's an interactive action adventure movie (Drake was one too) and blew me away with the amount of 'fun' i had with this game. The main reason ti didnt get massive reviews is because it didn't re-invent the wheel. I agree it's too short, but to say this game is rubbish or below 8.5/10 is just plain stupid. Drake didn't re-invent the wheel, it used all the current ideas in games, and it just did it to an extemely high standard, Drake that was a mind blowing experience too. TR Underworld is not the same mark as Drake, buts not that far behind either, lighten up ppl. I give this a 9+ /10 all the way.

  Great game

After playing the whole triology from legend to underworld, these two have to be my favourates so far.
Tomb Raider Underworld is one of the best of the series in my eyes due to the fact of it's amazing graphics and the storyline i found addictive, with this game i found i was more in the game and was playing a real person.
There are a few bugs which you may encounter some copies of the game can be worse then others from what I have read, my copy was near flawless. I encounted 1 major bug others weren't seriously just more comedy things which you enjoying messing around with.
I've been playing Tomb Raider from the begining and if you have too, i would reccomend it to you buty don't put your expections too high because they might just get shot down, buy the game don't expect to much, play it and see what you think thats all i can say.

Oh and play Legend and Anniversary if you haven't first, explains the storyline a bit more as it's a triology ;)
