Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is the first game built around the legendary music of America's greatest rock 'n' roll band: Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer. Fans will experience Aerosmith's Grammy award winning career, from their first gig to becoming rock royalty, in a way that no other entertainment vehicle offers. As players progress through the game, they can rock out to the band's greatest hits, as well as songs from other celebrated artists that the band has either performed with or has been inspired by in some way. Venues from historical moments during the band's illustrious career offer the experience of "sweet emotion" and further capture the essence of the band's rise to fame.

Let the music do the talking: The collaboration offers consumers an unprecedented level of access to Aerosmith's music catalogue and an unbeatable soundtrack, with every Aerosmith song being a master recording. Each set includes chart-topping hits from renowned artists that the band has either performed with, or has been inspired by.

Rock this way, talk this way: Relive rock 'n' roll history and witness all five members of Aerosmith in all their glory. Motion capture sessions with each member of the band - including extensive facial motion capture featuring Steven Tyler's lip movements to every song - further deepens the experience. Additionally, multiple memorable outfits capture the band's rise to rock royalty, enabling players to feel like they're really experiencing those historic performances.

It started with a little kiss, like this: Completely redesigned venues featuring locations from historical moments in the band's career offers fans the opportunity to live the Aerosmith life. Starting with their first-ever concert at Nipmuc High School players ascend to the pinnacle of rock stardom.

Bass in the place: Enjoy the ultimate party experience in the Co-op quickplay game mode and shred as Joe Perry, Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton or select your favourite fictional Guitar Hero.

Same as GH3... WHICH WAS GREAT!

OK, I hear people complaining that its the same as guitar hero 3, now wasnt guitar hero 3 just one of the greatest games!...

      Same graphics = Amazing
      Same Style = Amazing
Same points and star power system etc = amazing!

Its like one giant expansion pack for GH3 which I think is absolutely great to be honest. so far Ive realised the songs arent too metally which is very good for those who thought that was the only downside to number 3. But of course, knowing GH there will be some heavy songs on this game, I have only just started so I wouldnt know yet.

So if you loved guitar hero and you want a giant expansion pack with loads of great songs, get this as that is exactly what it is.
      I hope this helped.

Not if you liked Aerosmith in the 90's

Not as many tracks a Guitar Hero 3, and quite easy to finish, I would have given this more stars if there had been more well known tracks, theres a lot of "oldies" which make the game undesirable to the younger players.. it almost seems the game was rushed to the shelves without a whole lot of thought... where are the well known songs like Amazing and crazy , or will this just be another way of making more money on download packs.

got this game this morning could'nt wait 2 start playing it, so completed the game and there seem's to be a lot of song's missing that you would expect to have on it like jaded, crazy, dude(looks like a lady), cryin and don't want to miss a thing, but there not on it seem's to me that they have forgotten to put the hit's on.

Missing the songs i wanted but still worth it

As a 90's kid i was looking forward to playing all the songs from the album "Big One's", however very few are on there...

Again there are not enough songs to warrnet it be classed as a standalone game, however as an expansion pack to guitar hero it is good...

i wouldn't recommend the Solus version, however i would recommend the package for the simple reason... Value for money.. you get a good expansion pack and an extra guitar for 2 player ... for £65 ...
the extra guitar on its own costs £45...
therefore you are getting the game for £20... so although not the best... it is def worth that!

       immense
