CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE

Listen to the title ... It's the name of the best online-game todate!

Let's start with the Story Mode.
The Story Mode is fascinating, real and for the most part... FUN :D
The Story puts you in the shoes of two different characters:
''Soap'' MacTavish and Sgt. Paul Jackson.
The graphics are fantastic, I really enjoyed looking at the cutscenes cause of the graphics and the dialoge. The dialoge is very good, it tells you what to do all the time, so you don't get stuck in one place. Like if you have to throw a grenade into a facility entrance, it is written in the lower part of the screen, so you don't have to think so much. :D
The variety of weapons and enemies are very well thought out.
You can have a Sniper Rifle, Assault Rifle, Shotgun, Pistol, Machinepistol etc.
The enemies change every time you change level.
You also have a very realistic (scope)sight, like when you run of walk, it's harder to hit than if you stand still. When you crawl it will get a little easier than if you stand and if you lie on the ground, you will get the best sight possible. When you're shooting with a Sniper Rifle, you're scope are a little hard to control so if you press the L3 button down (L3 is the left analog stick if you press it down) to steady your aim, making your character hold his breath to control the aim better. It's easy to do it, and it's a fabolous thing.
You even get to control Captain Price in two missions that is set to a time 15 years ago. That is a single sniper mission, both of them.
You have to get to a hotel so you can assassinate Imran Zakhaev from the 5th floor. Sometimes during the first mission you have to shoot the first guard when the other's not looking, it makes sense actually. And then your buddy shoots the other right away.
The last mission is more of a .. ehh.... getting-away-mission.
You have to get to the evacuation chopper within som time.
Before that you have to shoot down an enemychopper and when it falls down it hits Captain MacMillan's legs and he can't walk anymore, you have to carry him.

I think the Story Mode is the best part cause I really suck online hehe.

Now for the Online Part:

The online part is very challenging for me, cause I suck. The other players kill me so fast so sometimes I don't even get to kill ONE SINGLE guy. Haha.

But if you're really good at these games, you might like going online. The Online mode has some kind of evolution system. You get promoted if you get blahblah points and then you get access to alot new weapons... like: Sniper, Shotgun and other stuff.
When you have been promoted a few times you can even ''Create a Class''. A ''class'' is a group of weapong which you have to select before the match. Like: Sniper Rifle & Desert Eagle or Shotgun & Regular Pistol.
I haven't comed that far yet, but when I do, I will be happy.
It looks fun to ''Create a Class''.
The Online mode has the very same maps like the Story. And you can play with up to 18 people at the same map.
Though, the maps aren't quite big. You can really be trapped without having a chance to escape. And it all goes so FAST !! :D
(because I suck)

But all in all, this is the best FPS I've ever played!

If after reading all the other reviews you feel youself drooling over this game then BUY IT!!! Because they are all spot-on!

The story is good and pretty short but not too short though, plenty of variety, and a good storyline provides you with a great FPS game, good graphics, fast paced. 10/10.

As for the online play.....well! what can i say?

This is online gaming at it's best, make no mistake!
Absolutely frantic action from a wide range of game modes and unlockables, which will keep you playing until you realise you've lost your social life totally. 100/10 for the online play

This game is good for the first few days of playing online but then i realized i'm playing the same small selection of maps and have done everything the game has to offer over and over.

Another fps. Its just the same with o.k. Graphics (for ps3/xbox)

Mgs4 and gta4 out do it in graphics.

The addiction clouds peoples views. Why i ask is this level of addiction a plus point. If smoking is addictive and makes you unhealthy then why isn't cod4 just the same. You sit around getting unhealthy playing your life away.

People who have intelligence and can see how this game is just addictive and offers no new aspects to the genre.
