Battle Fantasia

The game itself features many different things, fans of guilty gear beware this is a detachment from some of the other titles such as x , xx or blazblue and features 3D models rather than sprites. Not a bad thing in any way however as most of the character share vivid animation and hold up very well under scrutiny ^_^

The modes available are the generic norm for beat em ups now with a survival time attack arcade training regime etc...with an inclusion of the story mode however it may (you think) differ. However. The story mode itself boasts some fantastic classic art from the producers, reminiscent of the ps1's incarnation of guilty gear and to be honest that's about it it glorifies each fight with a little dialogue before throwing you into a 1 round bout . Win or lose you can continue.

The versus depth isn't fantastic however and the game does suffer from simplistic controls and lack of combos, a few overpowered characters and glitches allow for 'unlimited combos' which in effect once you're in its the opponents choice whether to let you otu....the majority of the time unfortunately the latter...so the balancing is out of wack to say the least.

The combos are standard forward quarter circle and optional moves, one difference is the special gauge however as u cna choose to power up moves instead of utilising specials. The power up allows you to create substantially more damage upon the opponent, and is essential to batter the finale boss. (think seth only more annoying ^_^ )

All in all a break from the more 'hardcore of fighting games and a worthy addition for anyone who enjoys a few rounds with mates ^_^ just don't expect anything phenomenal...

This games not bad i got it very cheap its kinda like st fighter the way you exicute moves but u got weapons like soul calibur4,but in a anime way not many characters and no 1online but good fun for few rounds 8)
