Gioteck Real Triggers (PS3)

Lets get this straight, good product, does what it says, restores L2&R2 to their proper glory, gaming is better with than without.

Bad news: £3.99 for 2 small pieces of plastic, with an RRP of £4.99? jebus! There's better plastics engineering in your average Kinder egg than these things.

So if you are unfortunate to own 4 pads, that's £15.96, that people, is what's known as gouging.

These are included as a freebie on PS3 magazines so why they can't sell them at say £1 a set I do not know. I'd be surprised if they make them for an more than a penny per unit. When you see them you'll understand.

So glad I got mine with my PS3 mag subscription.

Thought it would be easier to press the triggers with these on but personally I found they just got in the way.
If your hands are constantly sweaty to the extent it feels like you've been trying to catch a greased pig with them then maybe these are for you, otherwise don't waste your money.

I never really planned on buying these but i decided to randomly, and i can't believe i didn't buy them on day of release. These are like many other reviewers have said... are a must have. I thought they would be these flimsy pieces of plastic that would come off everytime you press L2 & R2 too hard, how i was wrong. They clip on and once they are on they will stay, i tested them by picking my controller up by the L2 button to see if the buttons would come off because of the weight (this was a dualshock 3 so it has a bit of weight to it) but the button stayed put. The only time one came off was when i dropped my controller on the floor by mistake - R2 had come off, but no biggy, clipped it back on and it's fine.
These now make the PS3 controller on par with, if not better than the 360 control pad. If you have a dualshock 3 that is, because you now have a control pad with real triggers (not slippy ones) that vibrates and does not require a battery. If you haven't got a set of these, then i recommend you treat yourself, i think i might buy another pair for my spare controller so anyone i have a multiplayer with will have no problems. Ok they are ok... for a while.... then mine started to fall off cos i used them... £3 is good but i would say dont do it....

i hate them. didnt help at all. they just got in the way.
