UFC 2009: Undisputed

im abit fan of mma especially ufc, pride and k1 and this game is just as exciting as you can get a knockout or submission from anywhere!
as most ppl here i have only played the demo and was abit lost at first but after going through the tutorial i found the controls easy and how you would want them. i havent put the demo down since downloading it and just preordered it here.
another thing i love about this games is the physics, and graphics. i could write an essay on this game based on the demo but chances are if your thinking about buying it u have a ps3 or xbox so download the demo and try it for yourself!

Im basing this purely on the demo, im not one to play many fighting games and hardly ever watch ufc on tv but thought id download it as it was something different to the usual type of fighting games. the graphics are fantastic. especially character detail. i was actually taken back by it...(that doesnt happen often!) i seemed to enjoy playing for such a long time but think it could get quite boring after a few weeks!.(of course i havent seen the full game so could have career options which could be more exciting!) anyway my advice is to try it out on demo if you like fighting games as its quite entertaining!! and the reason i havent given it 5 stars is because its a demo...im sure to buy this when it comes out and give it that extra star!!!

i am a big ufc fan and have been waiting for ages fo this as it got delayed, i played the demo and its amazing, the fighters and moves are so realistic and the graphics are quality 2, cant wait for this already preordered :D hope this helps.

This game is amazing. Ive just downloaded the demo and i was surprised by how hooked i am. I don't watch the sport of UFC but the game is great. The graphics are outstanding. I suggest you pre order this game.

Before i go any further let it be known that i am a huge fan of BOTH ufc and boxing, i love watching ufc so i'm not hating on this game for my dislike of the sport. I'm not even "hating" on it. I am simply stating my opinion and my opinion is that this game is terrible.

How this got so many good reviews i will never know.
If you are seriously considering buying the game please download it first. The mechanics are terrible, it doesn't feel realistic at all. The graphics are borderline terrible and the fights require no skill at all. I literally stood pressing circle, X, square, triangle repeatedly in that same rotation and managed to score a knockout in the first round. That's another thing, the knockouts are anticlimatic to say the least. Watching the replays the majority of the time the hit barely connected and it just doesn't feel as satisfying as when you knock someone out on a game like fight night round 3.
I had high hopes for this game and i'm bitterly dissapointed, downlaod the demo before buying this game isn't worth spending a penny on.
One positive comment about this game, there is a lot of different grapples and various take downs and attacks which is something you really need with an MMA game. The sheer amount of blocks, counters, punches, kicks, grapples, submissions, reversals is insane. I think the team who created the game spent to much time perfecting this and not enough time on the rest of the game.
This game is worth one star, no more than that.
