NBA Live 09

Played the demo on the ps3 and i found this game very good...
The graphics are great and so to is the gameplay definetly worth downloading to try for urselfs....
I also find the arena great similar to the fifa arena but you get full use of 2 courts(4hoops) with other players shooting around you very kwl feature

When i downloaded this game it did look very good and I felt EA Sports have deliverd a good game finally in the franchise as it has been a while. So i bought it as i have all the nba lives from when it first came out. Unfortunatly it still has a lot of glitches like the game sometimes freezes after a time out is called and the game gets stuck on loading when you have finished playing a game, which can be very annoying especially if you have just won the game as it is hard to beat the cpu on superstar level. Plus on the superstar level the cpu never seems to miss a shot, even if you do use the lockdown mode and also if he shoots with a hand in his face, which can get annoying as it takes away the realistic feel of what a basketball game should be like. plus when you try and shot the ball even if your wide open it hardly seems to want to go in or 9 time out of 10 you will get blocked. Dont get me wrong it is a good game i like the dna stuff and also the accadamy training it is a nice touch, and the graphics are very good and the way the players move around the court makes it feel very real. But I just wish that EA Sports would sort out the way the game plays rather then keep adding all these new touches to try and make it sound better then it really is. I havent played 2k9 yet but if it is better I dont think I will go back to NBA Live again.

This game is so life like. Everything down from the team courts and uniforms to the way EA have enabled players to shoot/celebrate etc as the NBA stars do. Dozens of options to hit the baskets. Offense and defense strategies are straight forward to execute and master, playing and using daily updated stats on individual players (if Shaq has a good game and drops 30 points or Lebron rains in 12 three pointers, you'll know about it) as well as updating the rosters on a daily basis according to who is injured. It is a great game, online, with friends or playing an 82 game season on one player. If you love the NBA, get it you won't be disappointed!

I don't know very much about basketball, so straight away forgive me if I don't go into this too much. Theres a lot of good points about this game. Its a pretty good game, certainly better than 08 and from what I played on the 2K9 game. The controls are deep enough, but not too complicated, visually its keeping up EA's high standard and on the highest difficulty, it will challenge you. Rebounding can be a nightmare though and 90% of the time, you might find you'll rely on players not under your control to win those important rebounds. Still, its a great game that'll challenge and its great fun playing the game with mates. Well worth it.

I brought this game after playing the demo. I was not disappointed it is very very exciting game. Fast end to end action and you can often score 100s of points. Online play is so good it is like playing offline. There is lots of game modes to play including an exciting 3 point shoot out. All in all a very good game.
