Been playing the beta for a number of weeks now. now, it's not a polished product yet, plenty of things the makers will improve and fix, but otherwise, it's brilliant. yeah, some gaming issues, it's not as slick as COD4, but it's WAR. huge WAR. huge maps. lots of weapons. and team work which is great.
i look forward to the finished product and hope it addresses all issues the Beta trials are showing up. it has potential to be simply MEGA.
i've been playing the beta for a while now and give it a good chance to impress, and it just doesn't! when comparing to other top fps it just isn't as good it don't play as smooth and just don't look as polished, play mag then put modern warfare 2 straight on after and you will see what i mean. also it takes nearly a whole assault rifle magazine to kill a single enemy soldier, so if you come across 2 or 3 at a time which you will, you will be lucky to kill just 1 even if they don't see you until you fire at them, which also makes the sniper class pointless i have hit the same person 3 or 4 times without them dying! the game does have good points, big maps lots of players and some decent game modes!
First of all, i decided to take a break from MW2, so i decided to pick up MAG. And i wasn't disappointed! Great graphics considering the size of the map, people actually use teamwork! And campers are acceptable (in certain areas). After the first hour or so of playing it i didn't like it, because i was too used to the whole "SPRINT IN AND KILL EVERYONE" from playing MW 2 too much, but after a couple more hours i got the hang of it and was using strategies to help my team take points.
A must have for FPS fans!
Been playing the Beta now about 2 weeks - looks prime, playability is endless and the most important factor is the teamwork. Never experienced this before!
Can't wait for the full game to arrive - it's going to be SWEET. Finally a really good online FPS to give us PS3ers something to shout about!
