Comment:**New Factory Sealed** With PS3 Tear Strip.U.K. Version,Not European.

Time is your weapon. Time is your enemy. Time is collapsing.

It's 2010. A powerful and wealthy Russian mercenary has reopened a mysterious research base on Katorga-12, an island off the coast of Siberia. This island was the site of Soviet experimentation in the 1950s that led to a catastrophic, Chernobyl-sized accident - the Singularity - that fractured time itself. Katorga-12 was abandoned, locked down and shrouded in secrecy until today.

You play as Nate Renko, a U.S. Air Force pilot sent on a recon mission to investigate new, wild readings coming from Katorga-12. Your plane is brought down, and you quickly find yourself in the middle of a massive Russian cover up that started during the Cold War and that threatens all of humanity today. You fight to survive, and to stop the Singularity from spreading and destroying the world.

The game itself is definatly a must for people that like a bit of Bioshocks atmosphere,Wolfenstiens aliens, and a bit of deadspace and half life.
The Graphics are very well polished, and the entire game and story are very good.
Unfortunatly unless its a rpg or rts game then the FPS games are usually too short and easily finished and this one is no different, 2 days to play and complete, suggest putting it on the hard level as on normal you will have a lot of ammo and just have no way problem in tearing thru all that stand in your way.
BUY THIS for sure but wait till its under 20quid i feel

           Time well spent?

Singularity is an old fashioned shooter with a cold war setting. Health pack pickups feature throughout and there's the odd boss battle replete with giant monsters with glowing weak spots to show you what to shoot at. Weapons are improved and upgraded at regular intervals and feel meaty with good use of sound and force feedback.

With the cold war setting, it's the ruskies who take a battering instead of the traditional Nazis but enemy AI is very basic, with Russian enemies running into your gunfire and ducking behind cover whilst leaving their heads sticking out.

The first mutants encountered give the game quite a Dead Space feel but, as you progress through the game, these are replaced with other mutants that remove any feel of survival horror tension, though they do make the game more frantic.

The time manipulation mechanics are well implemented and easy to use, if a bit rudimentary. Similar to TimeShift, your TMD (time manipulation device) can be used as a weapon and to manipulate your environment, an ability required to solve the majority of puzzles encountered. These puzzles, though, are hardly taxing and their solution is usually well signposted.

All in all, this is a decent game that's worth playing, if only to see what shooters were like several years ago.

Great fun, very entertaining... a good benchmark!

Great story, with nice transition from cut-scenes to actual play. Visually very nice, with great audio (had to mute amp, as I thought it was raining outside...) Gameplay is pretty seamless, with good control setup. A lot of thought has gone into the sets, character design and props... enjoy them. Thank-you postal service for delivering early too. If you enjoy dark corridors, eerie sets and a good mix of 'nasties' then you will not be disappointed. Maybe too much ammo littering levels on normal mode though...

           really good game
