I initially kept being killed without even seeing where the "bad guys" were but soon realised that they are just that little bit more clever than your usual A.I.
I haven't came across any of the problems that have been mentioned previously; it's vast, it takes time and effort to travel from mission to mission and I at least like planning which weapons to take before setting off for my next mission i.e. assasination missions I'll take silenced weapons, going to blow something up, take heavy explosive weapons etc.
To me the traveling makes the game far more realistic and I "so far" cannot fault anything about it; it looks superb, plays brilliantly, it's vast and realistic.
Highly recommended.

terrible game, some things just annoy me in this game when your car gets a bit shot up it breaks down and stops then you have go out and fix it then it gets shot up again, this just doesent work in the game. every gun you pick up jams after a few shots, you cant go anywere without being shot at no disguises, it takes ages to get anywere and all the missions seemed the same, the weapons are rubbish and you cant tell were you are getting shot from. i havent tried the online yet but this game is badly made. it says the most realistic fire ever in a game on the cover HOW does this make it a good game. dont waste your money get mercenaries 2 or GTA they are similar price and are a lot better than this trust me.

Far cry 2 is exciting, it has a good story, great graphics and not to mention very realistic. Gunfights are great enabling you to set forest fires in the middle of africa, your guns deterioate, jam and eventualy break which adds a twist to the usual running and gunning. This means you have to take care of your weapons i.e when you go to sleep put them in their boxes first. You can work for different factions, choosing your side, making your own decisions, even be an assasin, intercepting your missions from boxes held near electricity pylons.
In conclusion Far Cry 2 is a very interesting game. I could continue to write about it but by the time i had finished you would have been very bored. So if you have some money to spare and are looking for a good FPS then look no further.
