Review

It's World War 3 on a scale and level of intensity that has never been seen. The full war genre that Tom Clancy created with Red Storm Rising eventually comes to life with Tom Clancy's EndWar - a chillingly realistic vision of World War 3!

True to the Tom Clancy's videogames' tradition of innovation and excellence, Tom Clancy's EndWar is an all-new breed of strategy game. Designed from the ground up for consoles, it is a fusion of next-gen technology, superior design and first-class production values behind which is veteran strategy games designer Michael De Plater who's previous titles include the Total War series.

Set in 2020, with resources growing scarce every nation must look after themselves. Tom Clancy's EndWar explores a full-scale land war between superpowers.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars In-depth and Action Packed!!!

After seeing the trailers and a video of the Ubisoft girls testing it - it looked incredible. Players are certainly kept on their toes and never given much of a rest from the action. It is like a war - WW3 as a matter of fact lol.

The voice recognition is a handy thing to have as it saves time with deployment and messing about doing it manually. Although the recognition is slightly off (When you say the number "2" it recognises it as a "10" or an "8") but it is easily rectified. I would recommend this to any strategy player... but it could be a little cheaper to be honest.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Demo version is awsome

I have only played the demo on ps3 and it is brilliant , ordering your troops around by talking to them. All you have to do is press and hold r2 and speak.

I was amazed how easy it was also its got brilliant gameplay on conquest you have to secure uplinks that you can upgrade to air support ect which is very useful in battles. The enviroment is interactive as when you move your troops they automatically get in cover behind a wall its so cool.

So get this game !simple!
If anyone wants a battle on the demo version my ps3 name is ramiraz

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars Cutting edge technology!

I just played the demo which i downloaded from playstation store. The game is really feels fresh thanks to the voice command over your units. This game has won best strategy game from game critics awards. I should tell you this is by far the best strategy game to be released on consoles. However there are some niggles i have with the game.

First is that although the game is really responsive to which unit and what command you are giving through you mic still sometimes faulty do not necessarily do as you say. This is indeed rare but it happens sometimes. Another problem is the camera which too much zoomed into action and does not provide a level of control over the map you are in.

I can recommend this game very easily since it has high detailed graphics with very outstanding sound effects but i think this offer with playstation headset should have been cheaper considering you can order SOCOM game with the headset for only 40 pounds!
