Empires has alot of changes compared to the previous in the series, the biggest difference between 5 empires and 6 empires is the fact 5 is a more strategic game where as 6 is just pick a land you want to take over and take it by force.
If you are looking to rule the land this is a game for you but be warned there is no free mode and the only way to train your characters is to play the "empires mode", making your own characters is pretty cool but the fact that they just use the same attacks as the original warriors it beats the point of it being your own character, instead of wasting time just forget about making your own character and go straight into the game.
There is a two player mode but to get this you must first make "friends" in empire mode or play as ruler and select 3 characters your friends are most likely wanting to use.
Just like the previous games in this series it is just a slash em up game and can be repetitive, if you are into that then by all means go for it.
For any dynasty warriors fan you will know what the whole game is about, slash slash slash... but with empires it allows you to take over China in your own way, pick your officer and choose an army to lead to victory.
Choose your destiny, by defecting or leaving your current army... the game leaves you with a variety of choices to make.
Not a bad game but it will get very boring very quickly!
This game is probably the best from all the others beforehand so far. You can edit characters, chose a unique weapon for them and unlock clothing. It has many options to chose from and you can do thing like swear oaths, get married...Ect. The only problem is, it is pretty time consuming.
