Not To Bad, Could Be Better

Well worth 16 quid as it offers crisp and clear sound quality and the mic offers solid and clear reception of speech into party members earpiece, very easy to adjust to your head and is for the most part very comfortable to wear with an added bonus of a very large usb cable so you can relax in your chair or on your bed.
The main gripe I have with this headset is the the part which sits above your ear can be irritating after a while but this can be fixed by fixing one of the enclosed earpiece accessories to it, a decent headset that should last a while provided it's stored on a flat level surface and a much better option to wireless bluetooth headset.

This is a very good mic at first, crisp clear sound, sets up easily and generally comfortable for about 1 1/2 hours, sadly after excessive use it becomes irratating on the ears and is quite painful to waer, the build quality is if anything a little shabby, i accidently trod on mine lightly and the adjustable section just fell off, i repaired it but it doesn't stay there, and as im finding now after about 6 months of use, i can't talk to people over the PS3 with it, it refuses to pick up other players speech.

So all in all if your looking for a quick fix this will do you fine, but if you want something decent and if your a little more serious than i am, i would go with any Turtle beach headset you can get your hands on.

  Poor quality

Initially this worked quite well although a bit uncomfortable until you get used to it. The unit is recognised straight away by the PS3 and is easily set up.The microphone function though stopped working after about 4 or 5 months which is pretty poor in my book.

  Good sound poor fitting

Well, first of all I want to say that the mic is great. For this price you wont find a better mic. The fitting of the headphone is like terrible, it is really small, so If u are like 10 years its good for you but not when u are a grown man. But it doesn't hurt or anything like that, its comfortabble, but the over-head thing is more like behind-the-head. The extra earpads are not fitting properly , the cord is by the way really 3 meter long. I can recommend it for this price, but if you really want a headset that fits properly I woudnt buy it.

grtz

  Good Mic

This mic's sound quality cannot be faulted. However the fitting is not as comfortable as could be, but overall good mic to buy. NO CHARGING !! :)

If you're looking for a good quality headset and you don't mind a cord, than look no further. The Vantage's sound is crystal clear and the microphone works perfect, not letting any background sounds through. The Vantage isn't as comfortable around the head though, it's a bit tight. After an hour of use it'll start to get itchy. The cord should be long enough for any situation, unlike most headsets with cords.

This headset can be used for the PS3 and PC. I've tested the Vantage on both and it delivers the same good results.

  just a heads up

I purchased this item and found it limited as it is not supported/recognised by the game i mainly play which is bad company it would help if the information for the product included a warning that not all games recognise this product, saying that the sound quality when it is working is very good so as long as you know it works i would recommend it

Better than I thought it would be

I've tried a couple of bluetooth headsets (not the new official Sony one I might add), and also used the microphone on the Playstation Eye, and to be honest I haven't been satisfied with either so I thought I'd try this wired headset instead. The sound quality is so much better with this it's like night and day. It does feel a bit tight on my head but it should get better after use (may have something to do with the size of my head, who knows). The cable is nice and long, so as long as you're sat within 10 feet you shouldn't have any issues with that, and the battery won't go flat like a bluetooth headset will as there aren't any in it :-) Yes wireless is better because you don't have to worry about people kicking the cable etc. But for the clarity this headset provides I'm prepared to go old school.
