With the Godfather franchise and ea games producing this game should be up there with the GTA's of this world, and certainley retailing at £39.99 the words "reassuringly expensive"come to mind. Well having played the Godfather 2 for 3 days the words appaling come to mind.
The main problems are a map that is tricky to read, having said that the city (New York for crying out loud what more do they want) is the size of a village. When you get into cars you can turn on the radio but there is no mention in the inlay card of the game of the songs included or the radio stationsThe driving of the vehicles is woeful. The Godfather 2 has no slickness or styling what so ever. How ea games can release this game for £39.99 and it be this bad beegars beleif.
Its a good game but i dont think it would be everyones cup of tea, it isnt as good as the first one in my opinion and it doesnt compare to the GTA Series, totally diffrent style.
6/10 good for a few hours but if you were a fan of the first Godfather game, i think you will be disapointed by this one.
Bit of advice, rent it before you buy it.
what a game!!!! the gameplay is excellent on single player, all gta lovers should buy this, exactly the same with a mixture of strategy and a tad of role playing. also the online gameplay is great, you can earn money towards multiplater and take your single player into the online community. personally a must buy for all those gta fans!!!!
