Burnout: Paradise - The Ultimate Box

The perfect racing game, bikes and cars and with the brand new party pack makes it great fun to play with friends with lots of different challenges not just racing i bought the original burnout paradise for similar price then had to purchase the party pack for 8 pounds, wish i had seen this first

almost a year on the dev's for this game are still bringing out epansion packs and im still playing it ive spent a good 60 hours on it so far and ui havnet yet completed it this game has alot to offer especially for 25.99

also i may add the expansions really are as good as they are made out

Not so much like the burnouts I used to play to death on the gamecube, but more like Midnight club. Having missed out on this the first time I decided to buy, and can say Im not dissapointed. Dispite the review below saying the only added extra to this box is the motorbikes - and what an addition they are (I find it just as fun to free-roam on these as I do actually performing in challenges!) - this package also gives you multiplayer which although at first came as a dissapointment (as you do not get the option to race one another), proved to be good fun and are more like the 'crash' challenges in previous burnouts.
All in all this is a huge game and definately worth the price-tag, the free roaming aspect is almost as fun as the tasks and the graphics are crisp if slightly dated now PS3 wise.

I'll try to be as brief as possible.
As a racing game, it stands out from other racing games because of it's extreme speed, relatively little time in between races due to the free-roaming aspect, and (whilst very arcade-ish) solid controls. The graphics might not be superb on screenshots, but when you see everything racing past you at who-knows-howmany miles per hour, you know you've reached the full potential of your PS3 (or 360 if you get it for that system).

Now, about the "ultimate" box. Apparently little people realise that most of the gameplay aspects available on the ultimate box are downloadable free of charge (in fact, they are automatically downloaded as soon as you pop in a copy of the original Burnout Paradise). There are a few things that you have to pay for on the regular Burnout Paradise, but even if you buy the original Burnout Paradise and download all the extra content found on this disc, it's still hardly cheaper than buying this box! Not to mention that not all the DLC is worth it in my opinion, but I'll leave that up to you.

In short, great game, but there's nothing "ultimate" about this box.

Regardless of whether this is technically an 'ultimate box', this game is amazing and should have 5 stars in my opinion.
Yes you can get the extras free of charge anyway but they take a while to download.
Either way, you get the original island with all the challenges, you get bikes, extra challenges and trophies.
This has to be the best driving/racing game ever...so much stuff to do, racing and more (smashing through gates and billboards etc.) and the graphics are fantastic!
If you want a great racing game, or just a great game in general, you have to get this!!
