Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is the prequel to the critically acclaimed Wild West action shooter Call of Juarez. As the McCall brothers, players enter a doomed quest for the legendary Gold of Juarez leading them from a ravaged Georgia during the Civil War to the Aztec ruins of Mexico. They make their lawless trail into the wildest West ever depicted, using their gun slinging skills and killing all of those that stand before them. But when brothers face Lust, their bound of blood feels thinner than ever...

Dual Collaborative Gameplay: Players can choose to embody either Ray or Thomas, each with a distinctive gameplay style, specific abilities, and weapons. They collaborate with their other brother taking advantage of each of their strengths and joining fire in the fiercest fights imaginable.

Deadly Gun Slinging: Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood offers a visceral shooting experience, relying on gun skills and upgradeable guns. Whether close or long range, they harness a variety of weapons from heavy caliber canons to machine guns and various pistols for face-to-face duels. Every accurate shot increases their concentration, which allows them to unleash deadly shooting modes when outnumbered, and even deadlier ones when the brothers work together.

Uncharted Territory: Bound in Blood depicts the West before it was tamed with iconic settings full of outlaws. The McCall brothers face a gritty Lady, a renegade Apache chief, a greedy Mexican bandit, and a vindictive Colonel, all driven by greed and moral disregard. The players enjoy a wide variety of situations, using horses, canoes, and wagons to explore the open natural landscapes of the mythical Wild West and of its legendary period.

Innovative Western-themed Multiplayer: Gunslingers, Bandits, and Marshalls struggle online for the bounty. Multiple characters are unlocked for team-based objectives modes or the straight forward team deathmatch. Bound in Blood introduces a Bounty system, which sees the players increase the bounty on their head with more kills and try to get rid of the deadliest among them to increase their bank-rolls! Objectives-driven, team based missions let them relive the most famous scenes of the Wild West.

Ok i love this game yeh its got a few problems but i get to that later..
So nice to have a different slant on FPS games instead of spray n prey weapons here we have more of the single fire rifles and pistols....
fun fun fun.Controls feel very good and cursor goes red when you have locked on to your enemy. Gfx are very good with some pretty backgrounds but does suffer from screen tear from time to time but your so focused on getting that one bullet to hit brain matter i didnt care. MP online was a blast and will keep me hooked for ages very fun game to keep me goin until Modern Warfare 2.

       It sure ain't GUN!

Hmmmm.....What to say. Well it's an OK game and I suppose I was hoping it would have a little, " do as you want " aspect to it. You can't even shoot a town up, you can't even shoot the towns folk and yep i've tried. The guy in the gun shop " you here to rob or to buy " JEEZ he was annoying an I wanted to so fill him full of lead. But hey i've only just started playing it so it may get better. The trouble is I keep comparing it to GUN and it just doesn't have the GUNFUN. Online is entertaining but after playing COD4 & COD5 ( & they have it spot on) you feel it's lacking something. PLEASE, PLEASE bring out GUN 2 or even better COD wild west being in control of Captain Kickass & his cavalry troopers on a mission to clean up the west. From 2 bit outlaws & bandits to indians tanked up on firewater & Confederate soldiers who don't know the war is over. Sorry got carried away there for a moment. In a nutshell, if you've never played GUN you'll enjoy it for the game that it is. But if you have then you'll be left feeling it should have been so much more. Mind you I liked the Civil War concept at the beginning, very much.

       What a Great Game

I know this game has been around a while now, and I've had this game sitting on the bookshelve for weeks, but once I started playing it I can't seem to stop, been playing this game non stop for 3 weeks (except for work and sleep, these 2 things always get in my way of playing my PS3). Can't wait to get my gold guns. Brilliant game. 6 Stars

Excellent FPS with excellent story line

This game is superb. The graphics are amazing and the storyline is perfect for the genre. The checkpoint loading times grate to begin with, but after a while you forget about them, and in more intense levels even enjoy the break they afford you during combat. The single fire weapons are nice, makes it different to more modern shooters and makes accuracy a lot more vital. Nothing more satisfying than gunning down an enemy with a single shot.

What I can say for this game, is be patient to begin with. The first mission/chapter seems very basic and would make you think that the game is not up to much. But treat this as it is...an early tutorial into using weapons, how to use cover etc. Don't use this as a benchmark for the game otherwise like the last review you may feel inclined to take it back after a couple of hours. I assure you after this shaky start it is absolutely awesome. A must buy.
