Saitek Aviator Flight Stick (Compatible with Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.)

I got this joystick and to start off with i was really impressed with it.

Hawx Brand Manager Mr Tom Yu is quoted on a sticker on the box saying that this joystick gives "control that gamepad users can only dream of"

This statement is nonsense-the reason why ???
You can't change view [from 1st person to 3rd] in game without PAUSING the game....this really isn't ideal when you're in any kind of online deathmatch.

The joystick IS well made and does feel like a quality piece of kit - but gets a serious thumbs down from me due to the lack of being able to change view in game [I'll bet the x-box version of the same stick does have the ability to view change,only because it has more buttons]

I've gone back to using the standard ps3 gamepad-all you have to do to change view on that is push the R3 stick down-It's also a LOT easier to use cannons on the ps3 pad.... hope this helps!!!

Really good but ive decided to give 3 stars, the reasons being are that firstly its made from plastic, secondly what you'd think would be the missle button ( the one with the cover over it to avoid accidental fire) is infact the ERS button (in HAWX), and finally there is no button to select a different view, it must be done in the pause menu.
BUT they are minor faults really and dont affect gameplay as such. the joystick very good, it looks very good, feels good, so i would recommend it as it is much better than a regular ps3 controller. + it hasnt broken at all so far.

Having struggled for some time now to find a logical joystick for pC fly games this is excellent and does all that you require..most buttons are not available to PC users,but varying views can be obtained by correct set up and use of controls..must ne one of the best for value!
