£17.99 for one of the best games ever? buy it now, you will not regret it. it won't be everyone's cup of tea due to the large amount of cutscenes but this really is a masterpiece in every way, and an experience you simply can't miss out on.

The metal Gear Solid series is my favourite series of videogames. Never has a story been so in depth and a rollercoaster ride. The fourth installement is as good as the first one was when that came out and thats saying something.

-The graphics are the best Ive seen so far on all xonsoles
-The stealth gameplay has been mastered to become a true genre on its own
-The story is as good as its ever been, with the game bringing back old favourites from olfd games to finish there stories.

This is a true masterpiece in gaming, a real peek in what accomplishments can be for this market. For me this was the game of the year, beating all other games. A must buy for any hardcore gamer at £17.99

  EPIC.... and now on Platinum

Welcome to the final instalment of the MGS franchise, here is the most epic gaming experience available on the market to date - The attention to detail is absolutely incredible, nothing has been left to the imagination. The graphics, lighting, shading, game play and story are simply spell-binding...not to mention the cut scenes...

However, unfortunately I do have to mention the cut scenes. Ironically the cut scenes are MGS4's biggest let down - not down there quality (far from it), but due to there length. The ratio between watching and playing is unbelievable....once I defeated the second boss (Raging Raven) I had to sit through around 45 minutes of cut scene (It was epic, stirring and gripping stuff) but I rather be playing the game rather than watching it!!

All in all, MGS4 is a fantastic gaming experience and welcomes new comers and vets alike. This game sucked me into a world of stealth and combat and kept me thinking all the time (the weapon customisation is great!)...Everyone should experience Snakes epic final mission...go get it!

This game is a delight from start to finish as long as you are willing to follow the story by watching all the cut scenes (there are a lot by the way). I personally enjoyed the cut scenes immensely as I felt they added a cinematic element to the game.

The control system is very similar to the previous MGS titles and can be a bit fiddley at times but is not a particularly common problem. This metal gear game can be played in many different styles to suit a wide spectrum of players varying from the run in guns blazing players or to the stealthy patient killers (or non-lethal take downs). I personally took an approach using both tactics at different areas in the game with my trusty silenced sniper rifle at hand many a mercenary had no clue to where his killer lurked, where as others knew exactly where I was as I stood 2 feet from them with a p90.

The game might seem short at first play through but as with previous titles in the series there are many challenging unlocks to gain in the form of emblems which not only act as achievements for show off values but some of the more challenging ones provide weapons and equipment unlocks.

To sum up a great game with very good replay value and I feel a must have for any PS3 owner.
