  Why all the negatives?

This game is great, the realism of it is fantastic, and the campaign is really enjoyable. There are a few things I would improve if I were making the game again: I would make the campaign maps available on the Custom Battle option. And I would put in a "Create map" option, that would tip the rating to a 5 star! Also, the online is great fun and can be great if working with a friend. If you are a strategy game fan, or a history nut, I would recommend this game.

  well worth the money

Best strategy game so far on PS3

An absolutely excellent game, I was incredibly nervous while awaiting its arrival. But I'm happy to say that as an avid strategy gamer since the first C&C in 1995, I'm not disappointed. Finally with this and C&C: Red Alert 3, console strategy gamers have finally got choice that has been lacking since the demise of the PS1.

At the current price on 8 March 2011, BUY IT, you won't regret the purchase.

It's a fun, addictive, but still historically detailed game. The graphics are beautiful, allowing easy zooming in and out from the strategy board to the individuals units.

The one negative could be the 60 minute time limit imposed on once-off Battles (like skirmishes) but, after a while, 60 minutes is more than enough to trash an AI opponent.

  Very overated

I bought this and was really looking forward to becoming addicted, oh, sold the same day it arrived. Think the price reduction says it all.

Highly addictive. rented this game from blockbuster for the week as wasn't sure whether it would be good or bad. Has to be said, its fantastic. Graphics are excellent, gameplay is excellent and concept is excellent. I believe it is on par with the Command and Conquer series before they went bad. Just excllent. I'm definetly going to buy it now!!!

Im rating this 4stars because their are a few flaws that i think would make it better, il do a positive and neg list.
real life range on weapons(artillery can shoot miles!)
decoy/fake planes,tanks even bases,
ruses-radio silence, camo nets to hide your buildings their is approx 10 ruses.
you can create plans and tactics,
6 factions with their own weapons, strengths weakness etc
and lots more but you will have to buy it to find out!
bad points;
no naval yards
you cant force attack an area, not a biggy but would be nice to use artillery to keep opponents at bay,
no ariel transport for troops you already brought(there are paras tho)
run out of money easy.
I really like this game, im a c&c fan but this is a fresh look at this genre on a console so i recommend it. brilliant amount of gameplay, battles can last like 2hrs at least.

Great game..... frame rate sometimes abit slow and unit limits gets on your wick sometimes but those are the only small gripes I have with this addictive (time consuming) game. Love RTS games and the idea of this one is excellent. Love the whole chess board idea like you are really there in a WWII command centre. Theres no better feeling than setting an ambush under radio silence and waiting to pick off your prey.... More tactital than C&C which is why what I like. Shame the graphics are not quite as good though.... Overall, I highly recomend!
