Hitman: Absolution

I love Hitman, always have done, by far one of top 5 favourite video game series'. The latest installment is by far the very best, I would go as far as saying it's one of the best games on the PS3, period. The story is engaging right from the start, the gameplay has certainly improved significantly since Blood Money (see Hitman: HD Trilogy) and is one of the most fun stealth games out there. The Absolution mode (campaign) is brilliant, there are so many ways you can take out your target(s) and get away, the ranking mode has improved significantly with the new ranking system generated through points as opposed to the original shots fired, times spotted malarkey from the previous games.

Contracts mode however is where the game is seriously addictive, I can sit for hours just playing Contracts mode, making up contracts, trying to beat peoples scores, and I have to say I'm pretty good at it. The whole "multiple ways to take out your target" really comes into play in this mode when you can select anyone (literally ANYONE) from a crowd, mark them for assassination, and take them out in any way you see fit. The style you do it in determines how much cash you receive with which you can buy upgrades, costumes, new weapons etc. I once walked into China Town, picked up a fillet knife, threw it at the guys head and left without being spotted, got $300k for it...it's amazing.

Thing is I can talk all day about how great this game is, basically you should just me the time and buy it.

After a long absence agent 47 is back. This is an outstanding game mainly due to the story and also the variety of ways to accomplish the missions. The graphics are just as good as the story. A well worth game for anybody.

Square Enix are developing some very decent games as of late (excluding the Final Fantasy series which has gone down the toilet since they change their name from Square Soft) Deus Ex, the new Tomb Raider reboot looks amazing and this (Hitman) was personally my game of the year in 2012. the gameplay is slick, the story is good, online gameplay is fun as you get to create your own challenges and play other peoples creations. Graphics are like silk too. overall i highly recommend getting this game.

The game crashes, you lose saved data, you have to start all over again. I have never ever seen this before in a game.

Being a die hard hitman fan since the original I personally really like this game. Not at all what I was expecting but it does tie in rather well with the previous titles and the story is quite good. Not too keen on contracts mode or the fact that you cannot choose your equipment before a misson but its because of the story that this is the case.

Gameplay however is extremely well done, very slick and smooth. Feels great and looks amazing.

I feel that this title has set the stage for the next Hitman game, Its kind of rounded up the previous stories and can now move on to something different. Hopefully the next ones will be more like the previous games with equipment selection and actuall assassinations.

Overall an 8.5/10 from me :)

I cannot believe that this game has got a few bad reviews, this game is really enjoyable to play and the graphics are unbelievable! You can approach the game with a kill on sight attitude or stealth your way through the game making silent kills and disposing of the bodies, overall this game definitely receives 5 stars off me :-)

Brilliant game from start to finish! My game had no loading problems and played right through superb!

I believe this is the best hitman game to date, it has a very good storyline, game play and graphics to match. Definite purchase for any hitman fan

Even played some of the game, the graphics and story of the game are very good.
In relation to transportation, I guess it was within time.
