Pokémon Battle Revolution takes place on an island called Pokétopia, where your goal is to battle your way through challenging Colosseums to become the Pokétopia Master. Pokémon Battle Revolution is the first Wii - Nintendo DS linked title, which means that you can transfer your Pokémon from Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl wirelessly and watch them battle in full 3D!

Pokémon Battle Revolution features three main modes of play: Colosseum Battle Mode, DS Battle Mode, and Wi-Fi Battle Mode. In Colosseum Battle Mode, your goal is to battle your way through a series of Colosseums, each with its own set of rules and challenges. In DS Battle Mode, two to four players can get together to watch their Pokémon battle on the big screen while using their Nintendo DS systems as controllers. To participate in this mode, each player will need his or her own Nintendo DS and copy of Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl.

Things get really interesting in Wi-Fi Battle Mode, which allows you to battle your friends over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection using Friend Codes. You can also square off against Trainers from around the world using Pokémon Battle Revolution's Wi-Fi Rank system, which pits you against Trainers that have skill levels similar to your own.
  • Grab a Rental Pass, customise your Trainer, and battle your way to the rank of Pokétopia Master.
  • Compete against friends across the country using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection!
  • Transfer the Pokémon you've raised in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl and watch them battle on the big screen!
  • Battle against up to three other friends with Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl while using your Nintendo DS as a controller.
  • Players can create and customize their own Battle Pass by transferring their favourite Pokémon from Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl onto the Pass. This battle pass can then be saved to the Wii Remote and taken to a friend's house to battle them. There are three male and three female Trainers players can use to customize their Battle Passes. They can further personalize their Trainer with custom battle text for winning and losing scenarios.

Why cant they make? (Sorry for bad English)

I have played almost every pokemon games ever made. And I have always wonder, why cant they make a pokemon game aka oblivion (morrowind)? Why cant it be a real, large, great world where you start as a boy or girl, and do whatever you like to do. When you CATCH pokemon, I want to do it realtime, (or doing it as the gameboy games) not the gamecube/wii mode steal piece of crap shadow balls. I dont belive it will be that hard making the game either.

Then the game can get a whole new dimension.
The trainer gets experience points too, just as the pokemon does. Using it too get better in; running, jumping, chatching pokemon, use tactics, learn stufts, gets smarter for better dialogue options and so on.

I would love buying a game like that, but untill that day. Nintendo lost one costumer.

AMAZING - Best Wii game ever!!!

I love this game! it is great graphics, performance, Wi-fi acess! its all here! :) There is only 1 downside There is NO story mode which is annoying because i loved the one on pokemon collusium. Buy this game if you really love pokemon and have a DS with Diamond or Pearl it is worth the money. Definatly!

10/10 Well done Nintendo!!!!

 Ok

I got this game the day I got the Wii, when I first played on it I thought the graphics were amazing, plenty of Colosseums to play in.
But if you don't have a copy off Pokemon Diamond or Pokemon Pearl there's no point of getting this game because you're only limited to the amount of "battle passes" you can get. If you have Diamond or Pearl, Get it !
But if you don't, don't get it

 Too Much Heavy Maintenance

Don't expect a repeat of the brilliant Gamecube Pokemon games, this is the opposite of that. Transferring your Diamond & Pearl Pokemon is all well and good but it then makes the game too easy and for all the tutorials, creating, editing, explanations and introductions you have to go through before entering the arena you may as well press the power button. It's only worth getting for the two free Pokemon it gives you other than that don't waste you money.
