Transformers: The Game lets gamers control the outcome in the battle for Earth as they choose to protect it as Autobots or destroy it as Decepticons. Players will also experience the unstoppable power and massive scale of their favourite robots in disguise such as Bumblebee, Barricade and others.

Protect Or Destroy The Earth: As the Transformers' war comes to Earth, gamers make the choice to join the Autobots in protecting our planet or to join the Decepticons in destroying it. With dual campaigns, the fate of the world is in players' hands.

Robots in Disguise: Instantly transform from a larger than life robot to a high-powered vehicle such as a sports car, fighter jet or helicopter. Seamless transformations leave enemies in the dust or enhance player's combat strategy by giving the player a range of options in both vehicle and robot mode that take full advantage of a transformers dual forms.

The World Is Your Playground: Players crush, topple and wreck every object, including buildings and vehicles, in their path or use the objects as weapons. It is up to the gamer to decide how best to use their surrounding environment.

Freedom of Choice: An unprecedented line-up lets gamers experience the massive scale, unique abilities and sheer strength of an army of characters from the Transformers' universe when they choose to play as Optimus Prime, Megatron, Ironhide, Starscream, Bumblebee and more.

Variety of Combat: For head-to-head battles, fans engage in melee combat that reflects each Transformer's true character, scale, weight and power along with melee weapons and special moves unique to each character. The game's ranged combat offers a wide array of projective weapons designed to take out enemies from afar.

What a excellent game. Graphics are fantastic and gameplay is surprisingly easy considering the Wii controllers. A must have to any fan and gamer who wants and needs a diferent type of challenge. This game has it all. You wont be disappointed if you own this game!!! If i could give it a higher rating than 5 stars i would.

         Stunningly underrated game

A beautiful game, showing that the wii IS capeable of keeping up with its next gen counterparts, fun and easy to play with a very good control system. Good level of challenge and choice of characters. It's very difficult to find fault with it but if I had to I would say that picking things up can be more difficult than it needs to be sometimes.

        Everyone should try this game

I read lots of online reviews for this game and was pesimistic about buying it! However I couldn't resist the oppurtunity to have the chance to relive the film.....the gameplay was really hard to grasp which may put users off straight away, but once you do get it...you'll GET IT!
great graphics and quitre a lot a freedom. The difference in characters abilities is great too

All in all a decent game mostly for fans of the film/cartoons, would recommend but has short gamelife!

Pretty good but room for improvement

This was a pretty good game but there really is room for improvement, such as the camera angles can be a pain. No tutorial so kinda leaves you in the dark 2 figure it out yourself. The selection of characters is pretty good though, and thefact you can chose factions , somthing that was missed out on the previous game.

But after completion you should be able 2 chose your character but you cant so the after play is not all that.

But overall is a pretty good game.

         Really, really average.

If you've never played the Wii (or many other console games) before and you play this game, you'll probably like it, once you get the hang of the controls, because it's quite good fun, there's lots of things to smash and the environment is almost completely interactive. You can also mess around between missions, climbing around on buildings etc a la GTA but this novelty wears off pretty quickly.

However, if you're a regular gamer who also plays games on other platforms, this game is distinctly average. Graphics are ok, but seen far better. Longevity is non-existent. Storyline is dull and you really don't care about it. The controls aren't too hard to master, I didn't think, but even still they require more effort than should be required of what is essentially a run-around-smashing-things-up game.

The most important thing for me is that it's definitely not worth £40 or even £30, like so many games on the Wii. I got it for £25 and feel a little aggreived. Also, I reached the last mission as the Autobots, got bored and haven't played it since. That should tell you all you need to know about this game really.
