In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defences and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information.

Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn't counted on Romilda Vane's chocolates! And then there's Hermione, simmering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

Better graphics, shame about the rest...

I really wanted to be impressed by the game, the preview trailer looked much better than the OOTP game and seemed promising. However there was very little player involvement in the game outside of 'token collecting'; nearly every memorable scene from the story was a cut scene. The duelling, Quidditch and potions sessions were a nice addition, but the rest left me a little disappointed.

               I really liked it!

A really good game! I personally enjoyed duels because you were able to move the wand and cast the spells yourself. Cool game.

               Good but short

After watching the movie, I couldn't wait to get started on this game. Personally, I found it totally awesome! I love how you use the Wii remote to cast spells. And Quiditch games are much improved.

Although I loved this game, I managed to finish the main story in half a day. This is why I gave the game 4 stars.

However, there is still a lot to do like Quiditch games, Duelling, Potion making and looking for the 150 shields dotted around the castle and the castle grounds.

All in all, I think this is a very good game. An appropriate reflection to the movie.

               Short and Sweet

I think Harry Potter this year was quite a let down and could of been made longer to keep players more entertained and focused. The story of the Half Blood Prince wasnt long as expected , you may aswell buy this on PSP or DS. My rating speaks for itself.

               its ok
