Compete at the highest level of street racing with Need For Speed: ProStreet. It's no longer good enough to simply rule your local neighbourhood; you need to dominate on a global stage. Build the ultimate battle machine, take it to multi-disciplinary showdowns and pit your skills and reputation against the world's best street racers. This is your chance to prove that you have what it takes to be crowned the next street king.

ProStreet is your ultimate taste of the chaos and unbridled adrenaline of street racing. Pushing yourself and your car to the edge can lead to mistakes and this time those mistakes have consequences. Think swirling fields of debris, shredded fiberglass and heinously twisted metal. Every dent, every scratch and every crumpled body panel is a battle scar, proof of your commitment and competitive mettle.

Compete on some of the world's most iconic racing locations - Tokyo's Shuto Expressway, the Autobahn and the Nevada desert. The atmosphere is electric - complete with energetic crowds, photo-realistic cars and billowing smoke - all designed to embody the pressure and intensity of the gladiatorial challenge known as Show Down. Need For Speed: ProStreet is the realization of the raw power, visceral aggression and intense rivalry that embodies street racing culture.

Real, Adrenaline-Fueled Racing - Experience the raw power of street racing with a brand new physics engine, and intuitively refined AI.

Dominate Across All Racing Disciplines - Prove yourself in four distinct styles of racing: Drag, Drift, Grip, and the all-new Speed Challenge.

Ride the Edge of Disaster - One wrong move, and witness the consequences of your mistakes via truly advanced and comprehensive damage capturing technology.

Compete on the World Stage - Prove your skills on some of the world's most iconic racing locations - Tokyo's Shuto Expressway, the Autobahn and the Nevada Desert.

       Very good

Dont know what the bloke who wrote the other review is on about. It doesn't take ages to load and isnt still loading when your going around the track! He's talking crap, or his console is broke.

There is no free roam and street races but i dont mind that. It was very unrealistic anyway.

You can pimp the car just like in the other games and its great fun with the the wii controller. The tracks are very good and the race modes (drag, time attack, wheelie challenge, etc.) are very good.

      I love it

       I fell off my chair

As one of those gamers who forgets that leaning when you play normal games doesn't work this was great. Until i fell off my chair when trying to go around a corner a bit too hard. The fact that it utilises all the functions of the wii remote is astounding. Mine also has never frozen or taken ages to load and if i had to give my oppinion it is smoother than a babys bum.

       Actually quite good

I've noticed some game review sites that have done a single review for all formats that this game is on, with one paragraph for the Wii controls. They don't say that the Wii version handles much better than the 360/PS3 versions, which are awful.

Lack of online was a concern because it sounded like an interesting feature, a step further than just leaderboards but more convenient than real-time multiplayer. The game is so much fun that I've only given online a thought since buying the game, when writing this review.

Drag mode is excellent, speed and drift are good and grip is very good when you can master handbrake drifts round the corners. Loads of fun!

The only area the game can be faulted on is the framerate, which is 25fps at best.

not your usual nfs (not a bad thing)

as expected the graphics aren't amazing but it's not what the wii is about. the controls work well and the game seems to run smoothly so i don't know whats wrong with tomtom's wii in the 1st review? the only downside is that the cars don't seem to damage, just the paint gets marked. this game is different to all other nfs games as it is based on legal racing so therefore there isn't police chases and free roam modes, imo nfs has grown up and is on the up

A highly addictive game with realistic handling playing on the wii brings a new dimension to driving games!
