Developed by Left Field, Nitro Bike is the successor of Excitebike 64, providing heavy fun to the player by driving bikes with nitro charged rocket attached to them. Special FX and camera movements reinforce the sensations provided. 6 players multiplayer mode offers a real new experience to Wii players.

3 Single-Player Modes:

  • In single player mode, you can choose between Exhibition Single Race, Exhibition Series or Time Trial. The number of opponents (up to 9) and the level of difficulty (from 1 to 10) can be adjusted.
  • 9 Career Series:

    • When you complete more than a designated percentage of a given series, the next series is unlocked and you can decide to continue on to the next series, or finish all of the career events in the previous level with 100% completion. Each series will have a set of career events as well as a race series cup. When you finishe a career event, you are awarded a gold, silver, or bronze medal. Medals awarded in each event will count toward the completion percentage of the overall series.

    6 Career Events:

    • Single Race - Race against 9 drones.
    • Fast Lap - Time attack.
    • Hoop Havoc (Time Extend Mode) - This race type gives you an initial amount of time on the clock. When the start gate drops, the time starts counting down. Each hoop you successfully go through adds time to the clock.
    • Trick Attack - The player has to complete the tricks displayed on the screen.
    • Elimination - Be among the 4 first crossing the finish line to not be eliminated.
    • Race Series Cup - Cups are awarded instead of medals, and the cup you earn is adorned in the Series Awards screen, as well as on the series selection screen.

    Multiplayer Split Screen Mode:

    • 2-4 players can play on a single system. Once in the Multiplayer menu, choose bikes, characters, level and number of laps.

     Oh Dear!

I had high hopes for this one as the team that brought us the awesome ExciteBike 64 were on board for this Wii offering, but needless to say my hopes were crushed about 10 minutes in of play time. Some horrible graphics in this game, and the gameplay mechanics just dont work. Music in this game is very generic, its just lacking ALOT of polish. Seems like a rushed effort which is a real shame as this title had potential.
Anyone looking for Adrenilin racing should go for ExciteTruck

The Worst Game I Have Ever Bought

It might be a real bargain but that doesn't mean the game can get away with playing, and looking like a drunk grandma! The games tilt controls are hopelessly loose and twitchy. The only good thing about it is the fact that it's cheap. Apart from that it has terrible visuals and graphics, it sounds absolutely awful, it quickly becomes extremely boring and has restrictive online options. Pour boiling hot acid rain over any copies you find! I played it for 10 minutes and then straight away put it on my trade-in pile. It is so, so bad! Don't waste your money on this rubbish. Buy ferrari challenge or mario kart wii if you are looking for a decent racing game! But this isn't only the worst game i have ever bought, it's possibly the worst thing i ever bought!!!!

     What a waste

Don't bother with this at all, unless you enjoy playing terrible, terrible games and have a vendetta against your Wii. Sluggish controls, ugly graphics and gameplay that'll make you wish you were trying to eat baked beans with chopsticks - it's really that bad. What could have been a good 2 wheel rival to Excite Truck turns out to be a major disappointment. I turned it off after 2 minutes and sold it. If you've bought it, you should too.

    Avoid, like the plague.

Oh! Dear. What a waste of a plastic disc!!

    This game is appauling.
Come on Ubisoft put some effort into our Wii games please.
Ive seen better graphics on Sega Saturn games.
It may pretend to be Excite Truck on 2 wheels but its no way near and the gameplay and graphics suck big time.
The online is a joke too, I waited over 5 mins and still it couldn't find anybody to play with.
    A word of warnning.
Please don't waste your money on this as you will be dissappointed.

Whats with all the bad reviews??
