Wii Fit comes bundled with the Wii Balance Board, an accessory developed exclusively for the Wii console that will have a far-reaching impact for all who use it. It's innovative, exciting and most of all fun and simple for all to use. It is a pressure sensitive, wireless balance board that goes on the floor - so someone can stand on it in front of the TV. It senses weight and shift in balance in any direction and therefore by standing on the Wii Balance Board during activities allows players to follow along to movements ensuring they have full control of the on-screen activities. This allows personal improvement goals to be set to effectively help you and your family to train and stay fit...

Increasing your awareness of the importance that fitness has on everyday life and keeping yourself and family motivated should be easier with Wii Fit. The programme allows up to 8 people to track progress and monitor performance. Once you insert the Wii Fit Disc into a Wii console, a new channel - Wii Fit Channel can be added to your Wii Menu system. Once the Wii Fit Channel is added it enables users to not have to insert the Wii Fit Disc into a Wii console in order for the Wii Balance Board to scale your weight to calculate your BMI, measure the centre of your bodily balance and conduct a balance test in order to calculate your Wii Fit Age. It also allows you to monitor how long you did which category of exercise for in one day, all in the comfort of your own home and without the need to keep inserting the Wii Fit Disk into your Wii console each time.

Orders already taken on Wii Fit will be dispatched as soon as possible.

Well i sold my xbox 360 to get a wii so i could use this wii fit game and i am so glad i did now!

I am pregnant at the moment so some of the excercises are a little tough for me at the moment - but once baby is here i will be back in training to get my pre-baby body back - and im sure this is the tool to do it.

First of all the set up is simple -you get weighed / height / bmi etc - you can set a goal of weight loss too ( you have the choice to make it as easy or as hard as you need - and it an be changed at any time - so no need to worry if you set you sights a bit high! ) and also you can set password on your data so that your weight etc can only be seen by yourself ( great if your a little embarrassed about displaying your statistics for all to see!! )

You have a personal trainer ( your choice - male or female ) to guide you through the excersises which is useful. On screen guidance is great to.

The wii board itself is sensitive so you are not havin to exaggerate movements in any way - so feels really natural excersise - yet with the benefit of on screen balance info to help you alighn yourself etc

There are the yoga / muscle burning / aerobic / balance game options.

Yoga - ideal for me at the moment to build up my pelvic strength etc

Muscle burning - good all round excercise for all over body work out

Aerobic - different routines - variety and heart pumping stuff

Balance games - a bit of fun you think at first - but really test your balance and muscles - so secretly still getting a work out.

Moniters progress daily - and as you progress it unlocks different excersises games etc so you will really feel like your making progress.

All round family fitness - easily set up

Thats all i can say for now . . . my first morning on it and i can truly say i am not dissappointed. I will be taking it easy for the next couple of months but i know this will become my staple routine once the baby comes along to help me get back on shape.

Seems a little pricy initially - but worth it!

I bought Wii Fit the day it arrived on the shelves in great anticipation as this looked like a great idea. I wasn't disappointed at all, for me Wii Fit offers a way to get a degree of exercise in a way that doesn't seem intimidating- what a great idea!!

Naturally, the most important aspect of the game is the one responsible for the huge price tag of the whole package- is the Wii Balance Board, which comes bundled with the game. Despite what you might expect, the first exercise you'll do with Wii fit won't be yoga or walking across a tightrope to test your balance, it will be carrying the thing home from the shops. It is an absolutely rock solid piece of equipment and is clearly built to withstand all sorts of weight and punishment. It is obvious when you pick it up that you know you are dealing with a proper, high quality peripheral here and not just some plastic shell that will snap in two when any weight is put on it.

The board is fantastic and the various exercises can genuinely make you feel like you've a hard workout if you do them properly. The balance and mini-games are best at showing you just how versatile the balance board is when it comes to providing different gameplay styles. I like to think of them as the balance board version of Wii play. One minute you're simply leaning from left to right (Example: Skiing), the next you are crouching down to build up speed during a ski jump then quickly standing up to shift your weight and make your Mii jump (believe it or not this is actually exercise).

However, it's the yoga, muscle burning exercises and aerobics mini-games that are the main event here because they're the ones that genuinely build up a sweat and make you feel that you are doing some reel good. Also included in the Wii Fit is the chance to find your fitness age and then compare it to your reel age and that tells you how fit you are, you can enter a goal and the time you have to achieve that goal (Example: 0.5 kg in a month) and you have to use that time in between your goal to lose weight and have fun on the balance board.

Wii Fit may not be to everyone's taste, and I respect the fact that some people will simply not be interested in keeping a fitness game, no matter how many great reviews it gets!! But for those interested in the concept of an exercise games than I highly recommend it. Wii Fit really destroys the concept of exercise videos by offering proper two-way interaction and giving you proper advice that is specific to your personal performance- a reel break through Nintendo. If you do it often then you'll feel like it's working, especially if you haven't done much exercise in the past. It is no substitute for the gym but Wii Fit offers a way to get a degree of exercise in a way that doesn't seem intimidating. If you like the gym then fair enough- you do that (and if it works for you then why change it?), but if you are looking for something that is a lot cheaper, a lot more convenient and a lot more fun then you go for it, Wii Fit may be the solution!! Overall Wii Fit is a great way to keep in shape. The balance board is top-notch and the whole package works very well indeed.

- Balance Board is top quality.
- It gives you a good workout.
- The casual mini-games are great fun.
- Gives you a sense of achievement.

- Still a little pricey.

Overall: 9.5/10.
Mini-Games: 10/10.
Serious Games (Eg: Muscle-Building): 10/10.
Graphics: 9/10.

I got mine today and synced it all up. The Wii board feels very strudy and solid. I thought there might be a problem on the carpet but it was fine. I'm guessing if you have really deep carpet you may have soem trouble.
You get yourself set up and can do lots of things. You can set yourself goals on weight loss if you want. You can even hide all your details from other users, so all you weight conscious ladies out there your other half won't see any details. I've yet to try it out fully but from quickly using it I think it is going to be great. The board feels safe and the games, training games look fun.

So if you want to look after yourself while having fun this is the game for you. Even if its just 5 minutes a day the game will track this and hopefully you will reach your goals!

Nintendo have produced yet another ingenious product!

 Brilliant and superbly fun!

A great purchase for the Wii indeed!

Though I would always view this as a compliment to my fitness regime, it still can make you quite fit from doing it daily!

Jogging is hilarious! You pop the Wiimote in your back pocket and the faster you jog on the spot, the faster your character runs!

Plenty of games and many to unlock. I like how you can track your progress with your friends and family to keep that competitive edge to the game; encouraging you to keep playing!

Simple game layout, easy to follow... no wonder the rave reviews are flooding game magazines and newspapers alike!

Amazingly well designed both the Balance Board and game. Try it and see!

Well i've been unable to get this game as of yet, but since my neighbour got it, i've practically lived there! The game tells you your weight and BMI and allows you to set weight loss and BMI goals which is really motivational and periodically tells you how well you are (or aren't) doing with your goal.

Activity wise, there's a huge range to suit everybody.

1.) Yoga
You're guided through a variety of poses by your personal instructor, which is quite motivational.

2.) Muscle workouts
There are different exercises to tone different parts of your body and of varying difficulty levels to suit you, you can alter the amount of reps you do and again a trainer talks you through it.

3.) Aerobics
A range of routines, my personal fave at the minute being a simple step routine on and off the board.

4.) Balance
Games designed to improve your posture and tone your abdominal muscles.

E.g hula hoop where you have to rotate your hips as though you're hula hooping or tilt in which you have to drop numerous balls down holes by tilting a board using your body weight. (Wonderfully clear explanation...)

As if that's not enough it times how much exercise you do in a day, warns you when you're doing too much and allows you to cash in points from cooking, cleaning, walking etc when you're off the game.

To keep it interesting, as you go along you unluck new levels and higher intensities to ensure that the game evolves alongside your new fitness levels. There's always something new to try.

I've never been so motivated to exercise.
