The ultimate samba rhythm music game is shaking its way onto the Wii! Keep the beat with over 40 songs on a Samba-inspired soundtrack and shake the Wii Remote and Nunchuk like maracas to compete with friends to see who has the best moves. Throughout the dynamic songs there are opportunities to strike a pose, keep in sync with your friends or show off your dance moves for extra points. Friends and family will be thoroughly entertained as watching others play is almost as fun as taking control of the 'maracas' yourself.

Dual Wii Remote Control Option. Untethered, maraca-shaking freedom with two remotes or the Wii Remote and Nunchuk.

Fun for Two. Play competitive or cooperative multiplayer modes, including Love Love Mode where two players synch up their moves to earn points and test their compatibility.

Join in the Party. Have your Mii join Amigo and his friends as they party to your Samba beat.

Online Leaderboards & Friends Lists. Post your best scores and compare them to your friends scores.

Multiple Game Modes. Including Career, Single Player, Multiplayer, Training and Records.

Special Modes. Expand gameplay with Quick Play, Classic, Battle, Survival, Hustle and Minigames.

Samba-infused Soundtrack. Featuring over 40 Samba favourites from the original game, plus many new tunes.

This game is brilliant. The callibration part is a bit difficult but once you get this part by persevering the controls work great. I love the tracks and the career mode makes it even more exciting. So far i've played the game on my own but i can't wait to play with friends. A must for all wii owners this game rocks!!!

Good fun...on 1 player or multiplayer!!

Firstly it's not boring after 10 minutes so the reviewer below hasn't given the game chance. Ok my review: I won't lie to you it takes some getting use to the controls on the game. Once you have sussed them out your ready to go. Good choice of songs.. they have you bopping away to the music lol. The wii remote and nunchuck work well.. though now and again sometimes don't respond. Partly if you don't hold them correctly possibly.
Multiplayers good fun as is Wifi.. but would have been better to be able to play anyone, not just friends with the game. All in all a good game I would recommend. I didnt buy the maraca casing as the wii remotes speaker makes macarca sound when you shake in game anyways. Good game, good price :)

             Absolutely Fantastic!

I bought this game for the kids for Christmas but couldn't resist having a go myself. It's one of the best games I have played and is very addictive. You certainly feel it in your arms if you haven't been used to exercising them. The music is excellent and you keep wanting to go on to the next level. Well worth the money! It will keep you entertained for hours! I would have given it 10 stars if I could.

Papa Loves Mambo! Fantastic! Awsomme! Samba Fun!

This game is just as fun as the Dreamcast version ever was.
Dont take notice of some of the poorer reviews as the game is brilliant fun all round.
Also just to comment on the controls, they are not broken at all as some reviews would suggest.
You just need to calibrate your controls to suit the way you play and learn how to use them in the training mode.
Once you get this right the game plays just as good as the Original ever did.
I loved this game back on the Dreamcast and now Im getting to love it all over again on the Wii with an awsomme track list and proper DLC tracks too this game is a must have for new and old Samba De Amigo fans alike.
            Well done Sega/Gearbox.

Great fun for all the family!

I was a bit dubious about buying this game but it's brilliant! I am totally addicted to it, got through the first levels easily and am now working on the hard mode which is a lot faster and quite tricky. Even the husband likes it and my 7 year old picked it up really easily too.
