Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is the first game built around the legendary music of America's greatest rock 'n' roll band: Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer. Fans will experience Aerosmith's Grammy award winning career, from their first gig to becoming rock royalty, in a way that no other entertainment vehicle offers. As players progress through the game, they can rock out to the band's greatest hits, as well as songs from other celebrated artists that the band has either performed with or has been inspired by in some way. Venues from historical moments during the band's illustrious career offer the experience of "sweet emotion" and further capture the essence of the band's rise to fame.

Let the music do the talking: The collaboration offers consumers an unprecedented level of access to Aerosmith's music catalogue and an unbeatable soundtrack, with every Aerosmith song being a master recording. Each set includes chart-topping hits from renowned artists that the band has either performed with, or has been inspired by.

Rock this way, talk this way: Relive rock 'n' roll history and witness all five members of Aerosmith in all their glory. Motion capture sessions with each member of the band - including extensive facial motion capture featuring Steven Tyler's lip movements to every song - further deepens the experience. Additionally, multiple memorable outfits capture the band's rise to rock royalty, enabling players to feel like they're really experiencing those historic performances.

It started with a little kiss, like this: Completely redesigned venues featuring locations from historical moments in the band's career offers fans the opportunity to live the Aerosmith life. Starting with their first-ever concert at Nipmuc High School players ascend to the pinnacle of rock stardom.

Bass in the place: Enjoy the ultimate party experience in the Co-op quickplay game mode and shred as Joe Perry, Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton or select your favourite fictional Guitar Hero.

How can they be cheating THE FANS?

Even though I have not got the game (but am thinking about it hence the review) I cannot understand why people would moan about a game that is obviously about ONE topic - AEROSMITH!

Yes unless you are an Aerosmith fan then it might not appeal - but isn't that obvious giving the title of the game?

As for the comment of "cheating the fans" - if you are a FAN of the band then surely you would know more than 3 of their songs?

What a LET down, I only bought the Areosmith Guitar Hero on Wii for the main songs ie Crazy. Cryin, and Dont Wana Miss a Thing.
How can they cheat their fans and not put the songs that ''hello'' everyone knows and would enjoy playing.. talk about a ploy to get at your money.. Sort it out be more honest about the song list up front.. dont cheat the fans!..have some integrity or were you guys worried no one would actually buy it if they knew the truth!! NOT COOL!

       Nothing Special

Guitar Hero Aerosmith is great , But it's just nothing like the others.
It only focuses on Aerosmith songs with a few from various artists .
There's no Unlock All Cheat , The biggest let down for me , so you have to work your ass off unlocking everything. Needs more songs in genral . Only good for the Experts

Highly recommended for HUGE Aerosmith fans.

Let's make one thing clear from the start - Guitar Hero : Legends of Rock is a superb game. Which means that this Aerosmith version will automatically be compared to it, which is a pity. I like Aerosmith, but unless you are a MAJOR fan, I think you'll find yourself easily bored with most of the tracks, and go back to playing Legends. Sure, it's good to be playing new songs (where's the downloadable content Nintendo??), but this doesn't have the same "just one more go" appeal. Is it because the songs are longer, and more technical than Legends? Has the fun factor therefore reduced? It does seem to be trickier than Legends - hammer ons and pull offs must be played precisely - which I think will give the game longevity should you persist with it, but will put most players off. I noticed other changes - I played straight through hard level (to hear all the songs) and finished it without achieving 5 stars on all the tracks, which unlocked a guitar. Where's the challenge in that? If it wasn't for Legends, this would be a must have. This is lacking the variety and fun.

After waiting in anticipation and getting bored and frustrated as I only reached a certain peak in GHIII I could not wait for this brand new game to tackle!! After receiving ,we brought it out when we had guests and they all thought it was great fun, getting into the spirit of it all being new etc I played the first three songs only missing approx 3 notes on each easy level. NO BATTLES SO FAR??? This has been disappointing as the adrenaline rush I received from GHIII was unbelievable and at times my fiance wondered how i was still standing as my heart was beating out of my chest - With this game its not happened yet but hopefully the best is still to come - I wish that they would bring out other classic groups like queen - something that 90% of the population likes in general and they have some magnificent guitar moments in MOST of their songs. As said its only the beginning for me but now that i can vary between both games I am sure that I will work my way through MED as I did with GHIII but slowly and with PRIDE LOL. Such an addictive game through friends and family we must have sold at least 5 GHIII's and I shall continue to sell as many as possible as its such a great game and your also using your mind to play it also....... I would recommend both GHIII and the Aerosmith version as I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Strumming my guitar and having my other half watch and cheer me on!!!! LOL ;) ;) :P
