LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game will be based in the world of the globally successful film franchise, incorporating storylines, locations and characters from the first three films ("Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl", "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End") as well as the upcoming fourth film, "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides".

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game will re-create the action, adventure and memorable moments of the Pirates of the Caribbean mythology in LEGO form, incorporating the humor of LEGO minifigures and fantastic worlds built from LEGO bricks and elements for players to explore.

Players can take on the roles of more than 70 characters and experience the pirate adventure, irreverent humor and amazing creatures of the Pirates of the Caribbean films, through action-adventure gameplay and hilariously quirky LEGO cut scenes.

Throughout the game, players will also have the freedom to explore environments from the highly acclaimed movie series in more than 20 levels. The game features two-player cooperative mode, in which players each control a character to experience the story together, and freeplay mode, which lets players return to levels to discover new items.
  • Exploration: Players will explore familiar locations filled with interactive LEGO objects and encounter more than 70 memorable and new characters while making their way through more than 20 levels
  • Combat: The LEGO Caribbean is full of danger! Intense sword fighting moves give the LEGO minifigure a brand new pirate flavor
  • Unforgettable Cut Scenes: Everyone's favorite scenes from the Pirates of the Caribbean films are re-rendered with LEGO minifigures, in the humorous style synonymous with LEGO video games
  • Puzzles: Players will need all their pirate cunning to find the hidden LEGO treasures and discover the game's many secrets
  • Two-Player Co-Op: Players can join a friend or family member in the same room for two-player "drop-in/drop-out" cooperative action
  • Freeplay: Building a collection of characters throughout the game, players can then use their distinctive abilities to gain access to previously unavailable areas

 2 player bug

Game seems fine until the kids played together and then the split screen fun begins. Screen only focuses on player one leaving the other player uncontrolable on a blank screen

 Another Superb Lego Game

I am an unashamed Lego video game enthusiast ! I have a Wii console myself and these lego games are really superb. I use 2 player mode with my 7 year old and we have such fun !
This game imaginatively bases an adventure game on the Disney Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise. All four films are represented as you control various lego versions of the film's characters. There are puzzles to solve to progress through the lego versions of the films and items to collect along the way. These in turn provide added bonuses that may enhance your character's abilities. The settings are imaginative, the puzzles fun to solve, the characters are entertaining to use as you have lego versions of the film stars. A lot of thought has been put into this game to provide variety throughout the various levels. There is much to explore and discover, which will keep you entertained for hours. There are many nice touches that give the game a real 'quality' feel. The music for example is the genuine movie music from the film; this is no cheap rip-off, it is fully backed by the full might of the movie studio.
For a game that will delight entertain and amuse for hours, this one is highly recommended

** Really Enjoyable - Hours of fun - Great value **

The first lego game that I bought was 'Indiana Jones' and I really enjoyed it. It was the main reason for purchasing this game and it does not dissapoint. As you get involved in the game the hours can disapear without realising that they have gone by. As per other lego games there are lots of puzzles to solve, loads of comical twists to the game & characters to collect. This game is well worth the 14.99 that I paid and is totally entertaining.

 Superific!

Now I will be honest I'm in my late 20's but can honestly say this has kept me entertained for hours. The way the game has Jack Sparrows crazy run was enough to have me giggling. Really loved it and have played with younger family members who didn't find the split screen too distracting. Was a bit weird at first. Highly Recommended!!!!
