The Simpsons Game features a hilarious, sprawling, and mind-busting storyline crafted by the TV show's Emmy Award-winning writers. In this action-comedy, the full cast of voice actors from the TV show and movie reprise their roles to lend the ultimate in authenticity and realism to the game. In The Simpsons Game, Homer, Marge, Bart, and Lisa use exciting, all-new powers to save the world from rising chaos. To help the Simpsons, gamers at home must journey through all of Springfield (as well as vast worlds beyond!), vanquish an amazing array of villains, and fight their way through parodies of multiple popular games.

The Real Simpsons: You wouldn't want to hear Comic Book Guy voiced over by an actual comic book shop guy, would you? Neither would we! That's why we got the actual voice actors from the TV show and movie to reprise their roles, so the characters in The Simpsons Game sound exactly as they should.

Play Your Favorite Characters: Play as all members of your favorite dysfunctional TV family as you battle to save them from video game purgatory.

It's the Real Deal: Just like you want the game to sound like the show, you also want it to look like the show. And thanks to some really smart guys using innovative 3D into 2D technology, it does! Add in a huge cast of Simpsons folks and an amazing level of interactivity and you've got a Simpsons experience like no other.

Haw-haw! When The Simpsons aims its trademark wit at the video game industry, nothing's sacred! Pop culture and current event parodies join the mix to deliver classic The Simpsons humor and then some!

They're Simpsons and Then Some: The Simpsons family have been given special video game powers! From Lisa's Saxophone Spin to Homer's Power Burp, these special abilities give the Simpsons a fighting chance against the videogame baddies.

If you have not heard of The Simpsons - Hello, welcome to Earth! The Simpsons is one of the biggest franchises on the planet. Rivalling Disney for its exposure, it has become the embodiment of its own ongoing parody of big business.
I really thought I was going to hate this game. The timing of its release just after the film screams of 'cash in'; but, like the recent motion picture, it does have it's moments. You play as Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Marge or Homer, swapping between the characters to complete certain tasks, (a nice way to include the whole family, but a tad dull). Each character has their own set of powers, none of which are particularly fun. The storyline is as outrageous as we have come to expect from the family, and tries hard to include references for fans at every opportunity. The graphics are slightly off the mark, and the characters don't really fit well into the 3D environment created for them.
All in all, if this wasn't The Simpsons, certain things would not be forgiven (like the dodgy camera movement). Hardly a classic, but an alright effort.

Can't I give it no stars?

This is the worst game I've ever played!!! The controls bear no relation to what's happening on the screen, the camera angles are horrible. Really don't buy this game, it's awful.

When I played The Simpsons Game it was the greatest game I had Ever played two of my personal Favourite Levels was Medal of Homer and Day of the Dolphin one of my least favourite would be Game Over[well only the dance of bit]. Me and my brothers laughed ourselfs to bits.

As a summary I would say ''GREATEST GAME EVER''.

Lots of fun but still basically a platform game

The Simpsons Game is not a revolutionary title but is involving, funny and a great time filler. It is still a variation on a standard platformer but how many new formats of game really appear on the market?
