I looked at many positive reviews of this game but was still optimistic about spending full price on the game, so when i saw the low price on play.com i decided to give it a go..and now i'm very very happy i did!
De blob is the best platformer since mario galaxy! In fact this game feels like it was made by nintendo themselves: Its bright, colourful and just plain fun i don't need to explain any further if you appreciate games such as mario galaxy this is a must buy!

And at £17.99 don't hesitate in buying brilliant deal!

One of the best games available for Wii!

Highly recommended! Will appeal to casual and younger players whilst still offering a challenge in the later levels for more seasoned players.

Excellent graphics, silky smooth gameplay and beautiful presentation makes this a must-have game if you have a Wii.

Come on, show 3rd party developers that when they release a good game (as opposed to mini-game shovelware) then we will thank them by buying it!

The party games are excellent fun with mates and a few beers too. :)

Colouring has never been so much fun!!!

I bought this game cause of all the positive reviews it recieved and for £17.99 it's well worth it! You play as a blob, the newest member of a small society wanting to protect the citizens of Chroma city which has been taken over by inkies and drained of its colour. You get colour by smashing paintbots and you can mix colours as well. You go around levels, racking up points, painting buildings and completing missions. The graphics are very good especially the water effects but the best thing about the game is the music. You can choose from a list of different styles of music to play in each level from Blissful to Unstoppable. Also, each colour has it's own solo piece. So when you're red, a saxophone plays in the background along with the main music. Along with that ther's a multiplayer mode and it is clear from the main menu that a lot of effort has been put into the game. Nintendo should be scared...

           Well done!

          Top 100 Games Reviewer

They are some amazing games on the wii and most of the amazing ones are mario/zelda/metroid types. So it's great to see a third party developer come up with such a quality, individualistic game. It's gorgeous, really bright, colourful and the music is so catchy. It is a major part of the gameplay as each colour is assigned a different musical instrument. The resulting sound is so groovy it could be played in any jazz bar (by the way I hate jazz, but I still LOVE the music!). I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 because I have 2 annoyances with it. The jump mechanism (you have to shake the wii remote) is so dissappointingly unresponsive sometimes (only sometimes mind you) that it is really frustrating, I don't understand people on here saying it is smooth. Don't get me wrong it's easy to play but I just don't understand why they didn't map a button for the jump. Also, as I get further into the game the levels are longer and inexplicably, you can't save the game when you are half way through a level so you're progress will be lost if you turn the game off. Not a massive problem for some as the game is so addictive anyway you'll want to finish it, but it annoys me ever so!! Basically, get this game. It is one of the best wii games out there and the price is amazing, total bargain!!

           Pure class

I am a massive gamer, and especially like games with next-gen physics and gameplay, but this....i bought as a one off to give it a try, and LOVE it. This to me is one of the best games i have ever played. As pointed out previously, the game lasts so long, and even once you have completed it, you will still want to go back for more, even just free painting. The idea of the game is superb, and i haven't seen anything like it before. It really is the real deal. Best game released on Wii and one of the best this year on any console... A must buy for all ages. It's like being a kid again!!! THQ, i salute you. Perfect work.. £17 is a total bargain!!!!!
