This is one classic arcade game and is perfectly suited to Wii. Complaints are that it is short and can be completed quickly, which it can, but it has replay value of enormous proportions.
There is plenty to unlock and with multiple paths there's a lot to see. Multi-player also adds a great deal of length to the game but even when you are without friends there is an online leaderboard using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
Simply put if you like playing action games you'll love it and it sets a moderately high standard for House Of The Dead Wii to match.
I bought Ghost Squad having wasted many hours in arcades when I was younger. It was a real buzz playing at first and still is, but don't expect too much. There are only a few missions and not much changes no matter how well you do. The Nyko Perfect Shot guns work well with this game because you only need the nunchuk occasionally. Multiplayer is fun (though for some reason no split screen) and probably offers the best of this game.
i bought this game and i thought it was brilliant, but ten minutes later i completed it?! it is still a very good game, but with dissapointing legnth. you can play it again and again and keep taking different routes and unlocking different weapons and costumes, but it can get a little boring as sooner or later you will learn where all the enemies will pop up before they do.
good arcade game and suprisingly good graphics for the wii.
MAIN POINTS
# Extremly Easy.
# Tedious.
# Is Enjoyible, in small packets.
# Looking for a rail shooter " Unbrella Chronicals " is the way to go.
# Great for some fun
Ghost Squads, replay value of being able to play it, put it away and then get it out again later. Makes it worth the value of money, Hey it's a lot cheaper then the Arcade. But saying that i've never even seen the arcade version. To complete the Three missions is Extremely easy, but the amount of unlockables add some substance to the game, but replaying the same levels over and over again to level up, does lead uo to do a bit walk away do abit later. As a party game, if a rail shooter can be one though seems pretty good.
The two main noticible points about the Game are that there is no blood, and shoot a terrorist anywhere and they die.
Now that you've got your Wii Zapper from the Link's training pack-in, here's a great game at a good price to make further use of it. The level-related enhancements make for long-term enjoyment. Get a mate with a second zapper and make the world safer from the terrorist threat. Rewards sharper shooting more than the RE games, but watch you don't pepper the hostages with the spray on rapid fire.
