Hell's Kitchen is a TV phenomenon featuring world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay putting aspiring chefs through rigorous culinary tests. The game recreates the show's pressure-cooker atmosphere as players complete a series of kitchen and dining room challenges to find out if they have what it takes to be a "Five-Star" chef. Fulfilling an order requires three important phases - preparation, cooking and service, all of which players must master to progress. Prepare ingredients, cook them to the correct quality and get food out of the kitchen on time. Each complete meal is scored by Chef Gordon Ramsay to make the kitchen boot camp experience come alive.
  • Just like the contestants on the TV show, players must master all aspects of cooking: preparation, cooking and service.
  • Chef Ramsay watches your every move and judges you as you progress - yelling, praising or shutting down the kitchen if your skills don't meet his expectations.
  • As you progress, you'll gain access to authentic Gordon Ramsay recipes, including many that are exclusive to the videogame.
  • In Career Mode, earn your stars to build your way up from a Single Star restaurant to a prestigious Five Star establishment. Then, continue to advance through seven more restaurant ranks. As your Star Rating advances, the recipes become more intricate.
  • In Arcade Mode, concentrate your efforts solely on food preparation and cooking. The pressure builds as customers become increasingly more demanding.

 becomes boring

Game starts off ok and gordon ramsey is good but the game gets quite fast and hard to keep up with and after playing simillar senarios for 30 rounds it gets very repetetive and boring. Also i cant remember the last desert i had that had chicken in it!!

Wrong show - this is a kitchen nightmare.

As bland as steamed vegetables, and has the lifespan of a sausage and egg sandwich on a building site.

This is a mini-game masquerading as a full Wii title, and whilst it might hold your attention for about half an hour (up to an hour if you *really* love Gordon Ramsey) you'll soon be reaching for the eject button.

Chef's tip: if the idea of in-game Ramsey recipes appeals to you, go buy one of his books instead.

Chef's tip #2: hit your back button and scroll to find Cooking Mama if you want to play a decent food related game on the Wii.

Two stars - simply because the mini-game itself is ok... as long as you didn't pay actual money to play it.

 Needs more excitement!

I found this game reasonably entertaining, mostly because it appeals to the competitive nature. All scenarios are almost identical with stages getting more difficult as the game progresses.
The game is very monotenous with little variation, wouldn't pay full price for it but it may be worth buying in a sale to provide a couple of days entertainment.
Multiplayer is a little more fun since you get to compete with friends.
