Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis, the debut next generation title from critically acclaimed developers Rockstar San Diego, is like nothing you have ever seen before.

Experience the unmatched intensity of the real-life sport with an authentic physics engine and intuitive gameplay that mimics the exhilarating experience found in true international competition.
  • Intuitive and incredibly easy to pick up and play, Table Tennis utilizes the motion sensing technology of the Nintendo Wii to bring the game to life like never before for non-stop, fast paced action!
  • The intensity and speed of a fighting game, wrapped in a tight gameplay mechanic that offers a highly unique experience.
  • 11 characters (7 male, 4 female) from across the world including players from Japan, Brazil, Sweden, Egypt, the U.S. and more, each with their own attributes and play styles.
  • Each player has four attributes: Spin, Accuracy, Speed and Power.
  • 3 unique control modes (Standard, Control Freak, Sharpshooter) to give you ultimate control for your style of game.
  • 3 Playable Game Modes - Exhibition, Tournament and Training.
  • Compete in Tournaments from the Rookie Circuit all the way to the All-Star World Championship!
  • 11 Training Mode drills, including the all new Sharpshooter mode, allow you to perfect your technique against Robo-Pong.
  • 19 unique venues complete with crowds that chant your name in support and react like a live audience.
  • Up to four simultaneous profiles, each with their own control mode.
  • All aspects of gameplay recorded on Stats menu.
  • Multiple outfits for each player featuring life-like cloth physics that ripple and sway as you dart around.
  • A slight trail that changes color follows the ball. The color is dependent on what shot is used and the amount of spin is put on the ball, this becomes useful to determine what kind of shot you should use to return your opponents volley.
  • Placing and retuning shots strategically are the key to winning.
  • Tournament matches are best two out of three, played to 11 points and must be won by 2 points. This can also be customized in the menu.
  • Unlockable gear from real world sponsors such as Adidas, Butterfly, Joola, KillerSpin, Paddle Palace and more.

i got this game the other day from the usa and its pure addictive, its like playing the real game but not so hard the controls are good and the gameplay quality!!!. the world ranking mode is quite good and without fail this game will be a huge hit with wii fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quite hard to get started, but good once you do

This game has a steep initial learning curve, which takes maybe up to 30 mins to get to decent grips with! my first few goes were no fun and the training was initially very hard.

Compared to wii sports tennis etc.., this is not really suited for a mates after the pub or entertaining visitors, unless they are spent the time learning the controls as it'll be no fun. (A bit like a non tekken-3 owner attempting to play someone who owns it and regularly plays it - i.e. you'll lose. A lot).

But once you get the hang of it its really quite good. Although I found that changing a few of the default settings made for a preferable experience (change camera further back, make player transparent to allow the ball to be visible all the time, take off automatic full focus power thingy, turn off background music and lower the crowd volume etc...)

I'd recommend playing in the easy control mode first (no nunchuck) for a while and then graduating up to two handed.

Its true though that it doesn't seem to have a left handed option, which I can imagine makes it a poor choice for left handers.

 good but

Got this game recently its great fun and easy to learn all the controls its a shame there is no doubles thats the only bad thing i can think of.

 Left handed

Whoever makes these games needs to remember there are a lot of left handed people out here. I bought this game and couldn't use it as they are all right handed. Very disappointed!!

 Good but Disappointed

Really looked forward to playing this, but was let down by the "no left-hand option" I play tt left-handed, my wife and daughter are both left-handed but not a mention on the cover or in the manual about this being a naturally biased right-handed game. Tried to play right-handed but it's just not right. That's my only gripe (it's going back for a swap) otherwise I thought I could of got to like this one.
