This is so good I had to limit the time people were playing

Advantages: fun, keeping fit, good for you, family fun

                  Disadvantages: none

The wii fit has been keeping me happy for quite a while now, but eventually when you have played and tried all the games within it eventually it gets left in a box behind the sofa, for 72 days according to my wii fit. So when i saw the Wii Fit plus was for sale I pre ordered it straight away, it gives a much needed new enjoyable boost into the what was already great wii fit.

There are many extra fun things to do whilst getting fit with the Wii Fit Plus in my opinion. One of the great things is that it transfers all of your data from the wii fit easily and quickly in one click. You can now weigh your babies and pets on this. There are three new yoga moves - Spine extension, gate and grounded V. Three new Muscle workouts - Balance bridge, Side lunge and Single leg reach.

However there are two new sections which I find great these are the Training plus and My Wii Fit Plus. Firstly the Training plus section this has 15 new games that work on your body and your mind.

Perfect 10 - where you have to use your hips to bump the numbers around you to add to 10, sounds easier then it is trust me, great fun with mind and body.

Cycling- You use the balance board to step on and move forward, and the Wii remote for the staring, once you have tried this a few times you can cycle round the island collecting the the 13 flags on your way before making it back to the start line.

Rhythm Kung Fu - This is great fun using the balance board, remote and numchuck to copy what the other people are doing behind you, whilst keeping in time to the music.

Driving Range- In all honesty i found this my most difficult but then I am no good at golf in reality either, you use the remote as a club and have to swing just so to get the ball in. One I feel I will need to work a lot harder on :).

Sergway Circuit - yes you are on a segway and like the cycling you use the board and remote, whilst leaning backwards and forwards. You have to pop the big balloons as quickly as possible before they change to a mole like thing that makes you loose points. The last balloon is attached to one of these moles that runs round and turns when you least expect it, so is much trickier to catch in the time given.

Bird's Eye - Bulls Eye - You are a big bird/chicken and you only use the board flapping your arms up and down to hover over large targets which you must land on to gain points. Some are harder then others with different pint levels on each target, once you have done them you must get safely to the ship before your time run s out. This is loads of fun and even better to watch someone else!

Snowball fight - A winner with my son this game you are behind a shield with 3 lives you must quickly throw the snowballs at others without being hit yourself. This works on timing and agility. This is good fun but I found it a little easy, however once you have mastered this and others you unlock harder levels which adults will find more challenging.

Obstacle course - A new family favourite this has a mix of lots of different moves, you have to work your way through the obstacle course without falling, getting hit or squished, had my youngest in stitches, good fun.

Tilt city - This one needs good co-ordination and a good sense of timing. you use the remote as your main tilter, then each side of the board as the lower two. The idea of the game is to get the correct coloured balls into the right coloured pot at the end, there are bigger balls with miis on and if you get them the face lights up like fireworks. This is quite a tricky one but good fun once you get the hang of it.

Rhythm Parade - Like it sounds you lead a parade and mar

                   Fantastic expansion to Wii Fit

Was a bit dubious at first, but having loved Wii fit so much, I decided to give Wii Fit Plus a go and i'm glad that I did. Not only do you get brand new games and exercises - I'm getting addicted to the snowball fight - but you also get expansions on the original. With the addition of a calorie counter and exercise planner, you can keep track of what you've burned off and the best bit of all is that it uploads all of your saved data from Wii Fit, so that there's no need to start again! Definatly recommend as an expansion and as a stand alone game for those new to Wii Fit

Wii Fit Plus is great fun for keeping you more fit!

Wit Fit Plus has 15 new games which are as follows:

                  1. Perfect 10 is a game where you use your hips to hit numbers in which to reach a total. This is good fun and will test your body and mind co-ordination.
                  2. Cycling is done by walking on the balance board and you steer with your Wii Remote collecting flags. I found the cycling ok but prefer the cycling mode in Wii Sports Resort.
                  3. Rhythm Kung Fu is abit like the Rhythum Boxing only alot harder.
                  4. Driving Range is done by standing on your Wii balance board sideways and you swing the Wii remote like a golf club. I found this event to be the weakest out of the new ones.
                  5. Segway Circuit is brilliant fun as you race around poping beach balls!
                  6. Bird's-eye Bull's-eye is a real laugh in which you flap your arms like a madman to fly around, and you have to land on the targets for points.
                  7. Snowball Fight will test your reactions and throwing skills.
                  8. Obstacle Course is great fun and you feel like your running around a Mario level!
                  9. Tilt City is very enjoyable in which you guide these colour balls by tilting your Wii remote and your weight on the balance board towards their matching colour pipe. By matching the colour balls with the same colour pipe it will set off a firework.
                  10. Rhythum Parade surprised me as I was good at it and enjoyed it too. I was waving my Wii remote and Nunchuk in perfect timing on my first go!
                  11. Big Top Juggling is a very hard rhythm balance game.
                  12. Skateboard Arena is fantastic with it's jumps and stunts.
                  13. Table Tilt Plus is a good challenge even for those that have mastered the first one.
                  14. Balance Bubble Plus I completed the whole course on my first go which was mixture of skill and being very lucky.
                  15. Jogging Plus has new routes to un-lock and observation skills!

Other great things about Wii Fit Plus is the Multiplayer Mode in which you and your family or friends play games together. Each player takes turns with the Wii balance board and Wii Remote, and simply change players when prompted. There are three more Yoga and Muscle Workouts to try. You can practise your balance test games which test your Wii fit age in My Wii Fit Plus menu ( door ). There are five new balance test which are a bit tricky. Wii Fit Plus tells you how many calories you have burned off and you might find it useful being able to set yourself different fitness routines.
All your data from the first Wii Fit game is carried over to Wit Fit Plus which is most excellent indeed just like this game is really!

If you loved Wii Fit, you'll definitely love this!

I was worried I'd lose my Wii Fit data by getting this new one, but when I inserted the disc it successfully connected to my old Wii Fit data. And once you get started the friendly on screen balance board introduces you to the fantastic new features to Wii Fit Plus.

There's alot of reviews about the new games online. So there's no point me also raving on about them. But I just have to say the Wii Fit island has had a major change, it has gotten bigger and there's so many new buildings. It is always a pleasure to switch on the Wii and run around the island while it is a rainy day outside!

Finally if you do buy this, don't forget to delete the old Wii Channel and install the new one from the Wii Fit Plus disc. Only problem now is what to do with the old Wii Fit disc. Frisbee anyone? ;D

Excellent if you already use and love Wii Fit

Really love this, good fun for the whole family. My only complaint is that I'd expected an extra version of the 'stepping' game. Would be great if they'd come up with some different routines, maybe add in your own music or at least be able to choose from a couple of tunes. Well worth buying though, look forward to the next one...
