Turn your living room into an operating room. The critically acclaimed medical drama turns the Wii Remote into doctor's tools for laser surgery, defibrillation, forceps and more. You play surgeon in this exciting medical drama simulation. You'll need to cure patients of everything from routine medical maladies to life-threatening designer viruses. And, of course, there's just as much drama outside of the operating room as in it.

In Trauma Centre: Second Opinion, every second counts. Between a countdown timer and a patient's vitals, the pressure is on to perform a pinpoint accurate operation. The Wii Remote controller serves as all the surgical tools you need to save lives. It's a scalpel, a surgical laser, forceps and more. The game calls on you to perform a wide variety of operations from resetting pieces of a shattered bone to extracting glass to removing tumors. Although you'll use some surgical techniques several times, each operation presents a unique challenge - one in which you'll be graded from A to C.
  • Based on the hit 'Trauma Centre: Under The Knife' for Nintendo DS
  • Play as Dr. Derek Stiles or a brand new surgeon character with a new type of Healing Touch ability
  • Select instruments with the Nunchuk, wield them with the Wii Remote
  • Use life-like motions to make incisions, perform injections, suture wounds and use the heart defibrillator
  • Perform new surgical procedures like repairing broken bones and transplanting organs
  • Brand new sixth chapter of the story, not seen in the DS version
  • Advanced graphics for Wii show the medical action in detail without being gory

 Start the operation! ;-)

Simple graphic but great gameplay. Controls are well realized and it's very funny to operate and save the patients lives.
The only thing that make me to rate 4 starts instead of 5 is that the main story is exactly the same of the DS version. There is a parallel storyline but i've seen oinly a chapter of it.
If you don't have the DS version get it! If you already have th DS version evaluate from someone before to buy.

 cuts right to the point

this game is fantastic i have not played the DS version but you start operating form the word go, the story line is quite interesting with some interesting turns along the way. although yes the graphics are not that of a playstation3 power but to be honest i would be pretty sick if it was graphically accurate to real life. the graphics are more computer generated but it is done very well. hours of entertainment.

i bought the game simply because this is the sort of thing the Wii was made for, playing a game that would not be possible on another console, i would like to see more innovative games like this in the future.

 Stunning Game! A Must Have!

If you haven't played this on NDS but love trying new genres get this. I personally have played it on NDS but that didnt affect me loving this game. The Wii remote gives this game a whole new feel and so far im about half way through it and im no where near fed up with this game. If you take the time to read the cutscenes the story is quite gripping and you find yourself really into the operations.

Overall this game is very good. There is a fair amount of content and the 3 difficulty settings give every player their own challenge.

Its just like being in Scrubs but less funny, or perhaps ER but less American.

Even so, its a great game so go get it!

 Operation brought to life

This is one of my personal favourite wii games it has a good plot and storyline and takes a good 2 days to complete without taking your eyes off the screen, the gameplay is original and can be as difficult or as easy as you like due to the 3 difficulty levels. The games operations can get a bit tedious as some operations are very similar however this game is well worth the money and will continue to keep you entertained right up until the next game.
