Thia game is pure genius, and if you have a nintendo wii, and need a good game for your collection. This is definitely it. If you liked the other smash brothers you will love this one.

OK I have to say brawl is a very good game, especially when compared to melee. The introduction of the story mode was good to keep you going, but i think it could have been better, but still very good. But these types of games are supposed to be used with friends... as in kicking each other asses, which I think is heavy. The online mode is very good, it can lag a bit, but that depends on the user connection.

The control is the Wii remote but sides way. I thought this would be weird, but got use to it in no time, so there no problem there.

And as usual with every control pad I've used, I press the buttons too hard and leave my thumbs sore.

But other than that, it is a must for all Wii owners, And you have to play multi-player, either on-line or on same console.

When I heard the best party game of all time was coming to the Wii I was excited. When I played it though, I was dissapointed. It makes no use of any of the motion sensors (the main attraction of the Wii), not even on the menus, and this is a bad thing. It could be on any console, and wouldn't make a difference. The majority of characters don't shine out either. Very few of the characters are especially good, making picking a character quite hard. It also doesn't quite have the charm and appeal of the first ones, which is essentialy what made them great.

The adventure mode is a good addition though, which is almost the final nail in the games coffin and it takes even more away from the appeal of the multiplayer part. But as I did like the adventure, it still gets 3 starts.

A good game but repetitive, The story mode is great but lacking depth. The inclusion of virtually every great Nintendo character you can think of is good, but with virtually only 20 of the 40 characters being any good (Sonic was a huge dissapointment. Only 3 attacks? What the hell?!) It's limited. The entire game feels very...dated. We've all smashed targets and beaten multi-men half to death before. We've all sent our mates flying a million miles off the stage with a hammer twice the size of our virtual little bodies. And we've all knocked a sandbag senseless across a stadium. This is a very old game. Why? Because it's Melee with a few Bells and Whistles. Don't get me wrong, A great game. And the inclusion of a level maker (Albeit a very mediocre one) is a nice touch. But the whole game feels very dated and cliche.

Fantastic.
Just What The Wii Needed

Nintendo once Proves there Brilliance with this, Getting Sonic and Snake it on was even better!

Sonic is my character of choice, finally a game, which regonises his speed, Proper Fast, Weak and Super Sonic. Superb

Link is a tad Slower, which made me Cry.
The Levels are Fantastic, Most Move or have something about them

The Characters Selections Great

Multiplayers Superbly Competative
The Legendary Melee levels are on

I must say, i expected a Great game, but this was beyond it
The Story takes a few hours for all the special doors. i refuse walkthroughs so it took me a while.

The Final boss, on Intense is just Incredible, Never seen such a hard Boss.

Fully Deserves 5/5 unlike some of my other reviews!

This is the pinical of party gaming!!! A masterpiece from Nintendo!!!! I thought that Smash Bros Melee on GameCube was good...this is 1000 times better!!!! Now it has online play and a stage builder which gives the game 100s of hours of game play ontop of the excellent Subspace Emisary Campaign mode! This is my first review on this website i did it because i was so impreesed with this game!!!! Buy it now!
