For those who are new to the Metroid Prime series, with interests in first person shooting with third person elements, this is essential. MP1 & 2 are not just the same Gamecube games with Wii controls slapped on; they have been intelligently adapted for higher quality resolutions. Each one of these games are epic in the truest sense of the word. You don't have to take my word for it, just check the numerous game reviewing websites!

These games are absolutely fantastic. A brilliant re-envsioning of the franchise and you get all three for the price of one!

The addition of the wii controls to the first 2 is a nice touch, the controls work so well with this game.

BUY IT! there is so many gameplay hours to be had here.

This is the best game on the nintendo wii, and it also has the most value for money. I hadn't played any of the previous metroid prime games, but I was a fan off fps's so I though I would pick this up. I am playing through the games in order, and I must say they are brilliat, the games have some of the best graphics on the wii, which is amazing when you consider that metroid prime, and metroid prime 2 echoes were originaly gamecube games, a must buy for any wii owner.

Back in 2003 Metroid prime was released and I loved it, atmospheric, epic game play and gorgeous visuals, music was also worth a listening, the same thing applies to Metroid prime 2: echoes that was released in 2004 but it was a different game of course with the new dark and light world mechanism where you could switch between them by using portals and the new addition of beams such as dark and light beam where a new exciting new weapons to get in the game. Now recently in 2007 I bought Metroid prime 3: corruption which was also had the same type of entertainment but of course it was more of an open world where you could exit one planet then enter another with the space ship that Samus Aran has. Now onward to September 2009 we have all the 3 coming together to greet us an excellent trilogy which in theory costs £119.97 but at the price of £39.99 (Yes I know I bought it just before it got reduced to £34.99) you should not complain. This is a must have for all Nintendo and Metroid fans. Enjoy!!
