Accessory Village Wii HD Component Cable (Gold Plated)

I am extremely happy with this cable. It makes a terrific difference to the picture on my HD TV. No need to buy anything more expensive. This one does the trick!

An absolute bargain (1.95!!) and works great on the Wii.

Would have given 5 stars, but it isn't quite as it appears in the picture. There isn't any distinguishable way of identifying which red connector is for audio and which is for video.

To get around this, connect the green and white cables first and power up the Wii. This will give a black and white output. Plug the first red cable into the red audio. If there's a funny noise then it's for video, so move it to the correct socket and connect the other corresponding cables.

The Wii can then be switched to 480p and all is good.

A much better picture with this compared to the original wii cable. Remember to change the settings on the wii also.

For less than a fiver, you get amazing picture quality for what the high street will charge you up to 3x for!

I can now read the menu text on the latest Call of duty Wii game. Colours are more vibrant and picture quality is alot sharper.

To get the full HD experience, you must go into the Wii screen settings and click the 'HDTV' option.

After reading what other people have said about this cable i thought i would give it a go.
What a difference in picture quality! You can see the difference straight away from turning the Wii on, The menu is alot sharper and the colour wow! And the games are more enjoyable with a better picture quality.
Do remember to go into Wii System Settings and play around with tv type, my peference is ED/HDTV even though 480i is very good but i find the HD is sharper. This is a must buy for all Wii Gamers out there and at only a Fiver you can't go wrong!!!

Ordered on Friday, received on Tuesday. Why pay a tenner more in a Game shop for a generic cable when you can get one of these for less than a fiver. Put the money you've saved towards another game and, oh yes, it works very well too!
