The Star Wars Saga continues with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the fastest-selling Star Wars game ever created, which has sold more than seven million copies worldwide. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the world was introduced to Darth Vader's now fugitive apprentice, Starkiller-the unlikely hero who would ignite the flames of rebellion in a galaxy so desperately in need of a champion.

In the sequel, Starkiller returns with over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a journey to discover his own identity and to reunite with his one true love, Juno Eclipse. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2, Starkiller is once again the pawn of Darth Vader-but instead of training his protégée as a ruthless assassin, the dark lord is attempting to clone his former apprentice in an attempt to create the Ultimate Sith warrior. The chase is on - Starkiller is in pursuit of Juno and Darth Vader is hunting for Starkiller.

With all-new devastating Force powers and the ability to dual-wield lightsabers, Starkiller cuts a swath through deadly new enemies across exciting worlds from the Star Wars films - all in his desperate search for answers to his past.

  • Challenge your friends to a 4-player Force showdown on Wii in chaotic fighting game-style combat
  • Continue the galaxy-altering journey of Starkiller, Darth Vader's fugitive apprentice, that shapes the key events between Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV
  • Unleash the Force with more power and precision through improved controls and new powers, such as the deceptive Mind Trick, which turns enemies against their allies
  • Discover the true power of Starkiller with Force Fury, where his attacks and Force powers are exponentially increased
  • Improved targeting system enhances precision use of Force powers and greater interaction with puzzles and the environment
  • Take combat to the next level with the ability to wield dual lightsabers and punish enemies with all-new combo attacks
  • Experience the most life-like interactions with Pixelux Entertainment's Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) coupled with euphoria from Natural Motion Ltd and the powerful Havok Physics system
  • Expanded customization options such as new costumes and power-enhancing lightsaber crystals
  • Fight through all-new challenge levels designed to test and hone your fighting and Force power skills
  • Skillfully manage your combat techniques to defeat a variety of brand-new enemies, which will culminate in epic boss battles
  • Immerse yourself once again in the story that was honored with awards from the Writer's Guild of America and the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences

First of all they've totally revamped the graphics this time around and it looks amazing. Then there's the introduction of two lightsabers at once, this makes for some really fun kills on the storm troopers :D
Still not using the motionplus though as far as i can tell but i might be wrong. but seriously give this game a go as the duel mode is back and still as fun as ever

Very short but so, so sweet to play!!!

I had the first Force Uleashed game on the PS2 and I was unsure weather to get this game on the Wii after all the poor reviews but I'm glad I did. Yes it's a short game but the gameplay it buckets of fun being Starkiller with all his cool force moves such as lighting, push, choke and many more. This time he has two lightsabers which makes him even more deadly and fun to use.
The 4-player Force showdown plays very much like Super Smash Bros. Brawl which gives this game alot more life. There are eight different characters for you to fight eachother with which are Starkiller, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Terror Tropper, Rahm Koto, Asajj Ventress, Maris Brood and Proxy. They all have their own special moves of which Proxy can change himself into any of the other characters for a limited amount of time. The different stages in which you fight on have some nasty surprises such as the Gorog!
I must say the boss fight against the hugh Gorog in the main game is amazing and your encounter with Boba Fett is rather cool and the final battle against Darth Vader is excellent. When you defeat Darth Vader you have to choose between two different endings which are both very good. In fact even though the story may not be so good this time around if you put them both together they would make a fantastic Star Wars film. The graphics are very good for a Wii game and the music from the Star Wars films creates a wonderful atmosphere. If you like this game then I recommend this two other great games based on films for the Wii which are Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings and James Cameron's Avatar: The Game that I own.
